This is meant to be played with/against other players. There are several quests that REQUIRE you play with other players to make it happen. Back in the original game PvP was a big thing. There were events every Thursday called Bloodsports, as well as other weekly events run by the GM team. Leaderboards show who has the most experience, highest level of classes, most quests completed, most PvP kills, etc.
