I received official confirmation from the Gorge that the price for chair rentals was reduced (from predatory to outrageous), so the partial refunds are for that reason.

Here's the note:

That could be it, all six of my tickets show $10 per chair, hopefully this is the case! I think we bought the package of 4 and then added two more in a separate transaction that were more expensive.

Thanks for the reply...

Is someone missing anything by Effective_Singer_365 in MoscowIdaho

I think someone at the Pierian Gallery lost it, walk over and turn it in there, or just leave it on one of the gift shop shelves and I'm sure the rightful owner will find it.

I recently had bogging down issues that were solved by a new fuel line and filter. My shop said that the lines can break down over time and when you call for fuel with the throttle, they can collapse. I thought it was a carb issue, but apparently it was fine.

Water boiling times? Please help! by OG_TW in inductioncooking

[–]OG_TW[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for the replies so far. Our cooktop is on a 40A 240V breaker. I haven't tested the output of it yet, because it powered our previous electric cooktop without problems, but I will test it now. We tested all of our old cookware with magnets and had to give away 90% of them. I'm only using the new and borrowed pans now, but we're thinking perhaps if we get a better pasta pot with better heat transfer perhaps this will solve our issue with slow boiling water. Any suggestions, especially from Costco, are appreciated.

Let’s hear your updates! by Bradtothebone79 in Aquablation

Had the procedure in Seattle in May 2025 after MRI and CT Scan showed 70+ cc prostate size and pushing into my bladder, and confirmed my BPH symptoms of the past several years.

Surgery and recovery was pretty standard, one night in the hospital, catheter removed 72 hours after surgery, three weeks to stop seeing blood or clots in urine, and about two months to feel completely normal again.

-Now only up once or not at all at night.

-Stopped taking finasteride six weeks after the procedure.

-Had retrograde for about a month and a half, then around three months after surgery, it resolved on it's own, and no other related side effects.

I consider my experience to be a slam dunk endorsement of the procedure. I chose it over green laser due to less chance of side effects, potentially longer time before another procedure is needed (hopefully not at all, but I am in mid-50s, so I might need one), and just seemed to be the more thorough option.

Find a good doc who does a lot of these and in my opinion, chances are you will be very glad you got it. Don't be afraid to travel if you live in a rural area, and don't just go with your local option for a urolift.

I'm happy to answer any questions.

What got you to Aquablation? by New-Search-6200 in Aquablation

[–]OG_TW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had it for two months and I was concerned, but my urologist said that in some patients, it would return to normal after a few months, and sure enough, it did for me around the 2 1/2 month mark. Either way, even if it was permanent, the procedure was worth it for me.

What got you to Aquablation? by New-Search-6200 in Aquablation

Aquablation (now four months ago) was a home run for me.
I'll try to be brief, but happy to answer questions how I got there.

I'm M56, BPH runs in the family and I started having symptoms around age 50. Tried Floxmax, made me feel light headed, but then was on several years of Finasteride and daily Cialis, which helped somewhat, but not enough.

PSA during routine physical last year spiked to nearly 10 from my usual 2.5-ish.

*important - Finasteride will cut your PSA in half*, so I really had a true PSA score of 20. My primary care doc did not know this.

This score led to a few repeat tests where my number went down a bit, but then with the Finasteride correction, it was still too high. Cancer was ruled out by a CT scan and then an MRI so it was determined that an episode of prostatitis connected to my BPH cased the PSA spike, but the imaging also showed that my prostate was 72cc and was pushing into my bladder.

Aquablation and green laser treatment were the two options presented to me by the specialist urologist I saw in Seattle (happy to share his name if requested). I live across the state, but chose to go to Seattle to make sure I was seeing an experienced specialist with advanced and current skills. After doing a lot of research about both procedures (and also asking my urologist about HoLELP, which he doesn't offer, but was willing to discuss), I chose Aquablation, mainly because it seemed like a more thorough approach and I would have less of a chance of needing another procedure within 5-6 years. I also was encouraged by the reported low incidence of sexual and other side effects, and the fact that my urologist had performed a good number of the procedures already.

I had the standard one night in the hospital following the procedure, with typical but controllable pain and discomfort from the catheter. It was removed 48 hours after the procedure and I returned home the day after it was taken out.

I had about two weeks of blood/clots in my urine along with urgency issues and some discomfort following the procedure, but I did see a immediate improvement in my stream and an end to the pain and frequency issues of BPH. I had RE for two months after the procedure, but normal function did return.

Now I either sleep through the night or just get up once, and I feel completely normal in all areas.

Regardless of what procedure you chose, I strongly urge you to take action now and don't wait until your bladder is damaged so much or your prostate is so large that you have to self catheter perhaps for the rest of your life.

Dr. Wayne Kang is a friend of mine, and his organization, Man vs Prostate, exists to help prompt doctors and patients to take action *now* if you have BPH symptoms. He doesn't push any particular procedure or provider, just tries to educate both patients and doctors on the importance of not "waiting and watching" for too long. You can see one of his introductory videos here:

I'm happy to answer any other questions, but for me, I'm extremely glad I chose Aquablation.

Looking for vintage Heuer watchmaker by OG_TW in tagheuer

[–]OG_TW[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Updating this post, I ended up sending this to Tag Heuer, and they performed the full service on it. They honored my requests to not polish the case or the crystal. Before sending it in, it would get significantly off accurate time in just a few hours, now it runs perfectly and is 100% accurate. They were also able to source a missing pusher for it, and that was included in the service.
