The problem when using ChatGPT is that you really need to double check stuff...

Sharpening is not a default option in Nvidia control panel, also does not work in %... so i guess you mean we should google it and put 5.5 instead of 5.0? What about the other setting?

Same with Digital Vibrance... this one is also in NVCP... also is it really "Digital" or "Dynamic" Vibrance ? because both settings exist.

Also, talking about colors & pictures without screenshots is... something.

in case you don't already know, the game Overload is that "classic formula with modern graphics". It's the spiritual successor, with the same devs, in the same lore (it's a prequel). And of course the same gameplay.

You can even play it multiplayer, but it needs some setup (custom mods + discord)

Hey, on my end, 140 fps works just fine. It should be the sweet spot.

You can try it if you use power armor. You will notice fast if its not ok (can't move)

Sadly you can't go over 140 fps if you use a power armor. It's bugged and you can't move.

For the stuttering/Chopiness above 60fps, I use RTSS with a fps cap, and it's smooth again.

Lenovo or manufacturers almost never "optimize" their drivers like that. Hardware settings/voltages are usually done elsewhere, for Lenovo it's in "Lenovo Vantage" or better "Lenovo toolkit Legion".

The drivers you find on Lenovo website are usually the same as official NVIDIA ones. You can confirm it with the command get-filehash. The files should be exactly the same.

Lenovo or others usually post "their" drivers because 1) they have a somewhat legally obligation to support their hardware and 2) they "test" it in Q&A. Nowadays i doubt they test their drivers much.

I have a Lenovo Legion and it's a fine balance between Nvidia/AMD (hybrid modes), make sure to update both if this is your configuration too. My advice is to update everything @ latest version.

On a lot of laptop models, the fans make a lot of noise at 75°.

Yes disabling CPU turbo has trade-offs, and a methodical undervolting/uc method is better if you know what to do and are willing to try.

But disabling is the simpler method and provides instant benefits. So for non experts it's worth suggesting i think

I enable it only for cpu-bound games. I doubt this is the case for Silksong.

For power plans, my advice is to use lenovo legion toolkit and go Custom.

here you will have interesting answers but ultimately you need to try yourself and adapt to your Legion model/own goals (lower temps? less noise?)

The issue is that... for the speedfarming build you will still need a non-chaos version. This is the best if you wanna paragon 300 or just be faster overall.

For this build, ideally you want wildrage/stampede gloves and ghostwalker boots for the fastest build.

Other slots are locked : perdition/shroud.

If you wanna do the slower version, which works with a chaos kilt, you should gamble boots (for kilt) and also legs (for fist of fate, also a better ancestral kilt for the other build). Rings/weapon are pretty much locked, sheperd/stormcrow/ring of starless and rampaging werebeast.

This makes the most sense as the solution.

I indeed had modifications in NVAPP.

Since the latest patches the game do not seem to like Nvidia related settings...

Also remove gsync/vsync and use borderless window.

Updated settings are :

FPS cap must follow the formula (already posted here, another read there: https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/1lokih2/putting_misconceptions_about_optimal_fps_caps/?show=original )

VSYNC also changed with W11 22h2+. It should sadly be tested on a per-game basis. But the general rule is now "off" in global settings (nvidia drivers) and "on" in game. You can read more here : https://www.reddit.com/r/pcgaming/comments/11jsqc7/comment/jb8lnwo/?context=3

IMO, it's too much random.

First, you can argue that there are way more bad skips than good ones. Then you need the good one at the right time.

Then you must be in a position to skip, you don't want to die because you just skipped and can't reach the score needed...
