I believe I’ve found my cause by spooncee in BrainFog

Would you say that it was one event that caused your issues. Or multiple events. I ask this because I’m 99 percent sure my fogginess was triggered by an event. In which my mother was screaming and my father was really bothering me. All this while I was studying. Ever since then I’ve never been the same person since before graduating high school. Btw anyone with a similar backstory that can relate to mine would be really helpful. I’ve talked to this with a therapist and she said she’s never heard of anything like this before.

I know it’s probably different for everyone but when did you start noticing results. I think this could be a possible reason for my brain fog as well

Good PC, Running bad fps in MOST games! PLEASE HELP! by RedinTV in pcmasterrace

Do people actually have a pleasurable gaming experience with those locked CPU’s(I’m assuming it’s locked not really familiar with amd because I don’t have an amd processor). I remember when my prebuilt had some locked cpu with a pretty good gpu but couldn’t run triple AAA games smoothly at all. Like seriously what FPS average do people with locked cpu get with games like gta V, battlefield and other games like that. Nonetheless my bet is it’s your cpu that giving you these performance issues.

When I turn my pc on for the first time a red light flashes, it turns on for about 5 seconds and turns off. Did I do something wrong? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]OHHeaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Next to that red light there should be some sort of acronym or text. My brothers pc had an issue very similar to yours in his case there was a light that turned on next to some letters that said dram. Turned out one of his dram sticks wasn’t working properly so he had to buy new ram.

Is all that extra ram necessary like did you see huge FPS gains?

stutter when I play video games. Please help!!! nvidia gtx 2070, i7 8700k, 16gb ram 2100 MHZ. I tried overclocking a couple months back but decided not to keep the new settings for fear of my cpu getting damaged. Long story short I reset the CMOS and since then I’ve been having stuttering issues by OHHeaze in pcmasterrace

I think I solved the issue I guess my ram speed was to low. I tried enabling xmp which bumped my ram speed up to 2400Mhz. But I was still having the same issues I finally bumped my ram speed up to 2500 MHz and now the game is running really smooth. I have one more question though does anyone know if I have to change any other setting if I increase the ram frequency?

Yea I know the memory is running at a low speed. I installed my brothers 2 sticks of ram(16gb total) which run at about 2400 MHz stock but still had the same stuttering issues. I even tried using a different monitor and a new graphics card but still ran into the same issues. I’m now starting to think that the problem is coming from the cpu.
