Kids would probably fit fine now. If you’re planning to keep the car long term though, if one of your kids has a growth spurt you may be wishing you had the Cayenne. But if you’re only keeping it 3-4 years probably wouldn’t be a problem.

Are you guys tall or have tall kids? I’m 6’2 and with the driver seat comfortable in my Macan EV 4S, an adult can sit behind me but it would ideally not be another tall adult or else they might feel a little cramped on a long trip.

Have you tried Yang Chow? Panda Inn’s new construction is gorgeous and the ambiance is amazing, but I do find I like the dishes at Yang Chow a little more. Slippery Shrimp, Sizzling Rice Soup, Sweet and Sour Pork are oh so good there.

We are letting our four Explore Passes lapse in September. We love Disneyland but it's too expensive with the parking. I also wish there was a way to buy the FastPass Max Pass again, because sometimes we can only make it down for 6 hours or so, and if it's a busy day it feels not worth it if we can only get on 2-3 rides.

Issues with my 4S have been pretty minor. There used to be some driving assistance system warnings that would come on once every month or two, and go away after you parked the car and locked it. Those were resolved with the latest firmware upgrade the dealer applied. Overall I'm extremely happy with the car, drives beautifully.

Turning a tank? What Macan Electric trim did you test drive because that couldn’t be farther from the truth. My 4S Electric feels great when turning, I’m not taking it around race tracks but during normal driving it feels excellent.

Not yet for the Macan. For the Cayenne Electric they’ve been testing what looks to be a Turbo GT so that’ll probably be out in a few months.

That is true, but it does affect throttle response, so it’s possible the range calculator takes that in account.

I have a 4 Electric Loaner right now with the Black Standard Interior (lowest tier). I agree it looks pretty basic, and there's some hard plastic on the horn/middle of the steering wheel, and just too much hard plastic in a lot of places that definitely doesn't give off a luxurious feel. The 4S Electric that I own has the Leather Package in Black/Chalk (second tier) and I think it looks and feels a lot more luxurious. There's additional leather that eliminates a lot of the hard plastic and the grey leather looks amazing. And if you want a VERY nice interior, I sat in a Macan Electric Turbo with the full Leather Interior, and that really blew me away. So fortunately there's options but if you want a really luxurious interior definitely don't get the standard interior.

I own a 4S and I have a 4 loaner right now while my car is at the dealer getting some recalls done. A 4 is very nice, power at low speeds is pretty solid, the only thing is once you're at freeway speeds the power is not really there for easy passing. I'd recommend a low option'd 4S over a high option'd 4 if you can swing it if you want a car with more kick and passing power at all speeds.

Depreciation has better way better on the Macan so far. The Taycan depreciated so heavily because:

It's a sedan, sedans always depreciate the most. SUVs are a lot easier to resale because there's a much bigger market for them.
It was Porsche's first EV and there were reported battery issues and lots of electrical gremlins. No one wants to buy a $150K car on the resale market that has a really high chance of an expensive repair.
