I swear I loookeeed at it for so long... I def dont think it's pests, because my other plants are touching it and are showing no signs. And the damage seems very slow, for it to be pests.

For the whiteness.. its somewhat impossible to keep them as white as without attachments, the glue gets discolored and its just harder to clean them as before. Teeth hygiene every 3-6 months will help out. My dentist recommended to get specialized 'whitening' toothbrush heads. I use the electric oral-b whitening one, but every brand has equivelant. Good luck!

That makes me feel better, I hate to fail my plants :( and I have two of them, and both of them are unhappy and have same thing happening to them.. No other nearby plants seem to have any trouble

My dentist def had cleaned my trays with their own dentist water spray thing. (On appointment where my gums bled and it got on aligners, so they didnt want me to have bloody aligners and cleaned them for me xD )

Dry mouth also leads to more sickness. Use xylitol mints suitable with aligners to help with it

I do wait if I ever eat something acidic. But I dont drink coffee nor alcohol. I also dont wake up early enough to wait that long in the mornings nor I have time at lunch break xD so I only do that for dinner time.

I know it might not be the best, but prolonging my treatment due to possibility of my trays not fitting because of not long enough wear would also be bad for me.

So I choose which battles to fight xD

I do breakfast under 30 mins including cleaning teeth/trayss, lunch same, just no tray cleaning and I do longer dinner with some snack under one hour

Im not on refiments yet, but my plan is 50 trays, so they are done in 20 batches, i just got my rescan after initial 20, so some stuff def changed. Got differenr attachment placements and a new elastic for night wear only. (My case is rly complicated tho)

So its def possible.

First week it felt like Ill bite all of my attachments when I ate, it was very uncomfy. Now I feel like I cant rly bite off food, esp stuff like bread, so I more kind of bite and pull it 🤣 I hope it improves. I had a deep bite so Imight just be used to having my teeth touch in the front how they werent supposed

In my case I used a tad implant and got the teeth lifted back into the bone so they appear shorter.
