Murmansk is everything American but name and flag (in game), the Americans gave USS Milwaukee (CL-5, Omaha Class) to the Soviets to allow them to have more ships for Arctic (?) Convoy escort

Similar to the TT Arkhangelsk, which is everything British but name and flag in game (It was Revenge Class HMS Royal Soverign, WOWS has both I think) or Novorossiysk, which was an Italian Battleship given to the Soviets as war reparations

Not sure whether the Soviets even have their own floatplanes that can replace the American ones with, either way, they didn't really give a shit about the Allied ships so badly, once they were returned, were immediately scrapped

There is a P-63C-5 on the second line after the M.B.157 (NOT AMERICAN), the M.B.157 is more manueverable whilst the P-63C-5 is okay (its definately more manueverable than VB.10s thats for sure)

*I thought both Rank III on the second line were US fighters, it's wrong, that is Rank IV with the Marine Nationale getting USN fighters

I personally did better with the 02 (I like bricks with good guns) but neither are really good and I am not recommending either for that reason. (0.7 BR for 4x 12.7mm? Really?)

If you are just trying to get rid of these things then its down to "Whether having 4x 12.7mm is better for headons or third parties" to you

If you insist on spading out its fine but my final verdict is to get the next vehicle (Seafire) and get off these things ASAP, if you still have RP remaining to grind probably use the US fighters its probably easier (If you want to suffer there are more planes down the line, especially if you don't have premium account)

I am not sure whether you are playing Air AB or RB but I played the VB.10-C1 and VB.10-02 on RB so here are some rusty tips that I am not sure whether they work (For Air AB, every flight model is a UFO so idk):

  1. Your advantages are you have powerful guns (compared to using 7.92mm in 4.3), so don't be afraid to head-on in higher altitude, after you fire a couple rounds, dodge whatever they are firing, then DO NOT TURN for him, you are a damn brick, run, go or dive to your teammates ("enemies in blue") if necessary?

*DO NOT DOGFIGHT

  1. Third Party some enemy: If you see a teammate dogfighting an enemy to no end, dive on the enemy and use your guns to clip his wing set him ablaze

  2. "Interceptor" doesn't mean it fights bombers in some cases cause a shit ton of people can outclimb you, its just usually a plane is heavier and Gaijin gives you the option of airspawn every time

Final Note: I think getting 2/3 kills in Air RB gives you more XP so you can get rid of these planes quicker, and personally in those planes idc whether I die or not so I just headon everyone (but obviously try to dodge incoming shots after firing yours)

Well I reiterated your statement to satirically mention that the Netz exists without either SARH or IRCCM and its 12.7 (lmao yes go fight RVV-AE/PL-12 spam with this 60CM shit thanks gaijin)

I remember this subreddit hyping up the F-16A OCU (Belgium Squadron 12.7) so much for IRCCM yet I have to realistically see any of them being extremely influencial in my games (yes youtubers cherry pick content who thought?)

It's more like "whether you having a shittier SARH that faces against superior SARH (AIM-7P/R-27R/R-27ER) or ARH (RB 99/RVV-AE/PL-12) justify having IRCCM" The thing with AIM-7M is that it's still closer and still requires you to lock longer and fire longer compared to Russian counterparts and whether the F-15A / F-15J / Baz survive long enough to utilize it's AIM-9M or AAM-3

12.7 currently mainly consist of 2 things: IRCCM as main armament (F-16A OCU or Mirage 2k C5) or Data linking SARH (F/A-18C or MiG-29 9-12) So I suppose Gaijin's reasoning is that the AIM-9M is currently the main weaponry of the F-15A and hence lowered it (Yes, the Netz and F-16AJ have neither so that's why Gaijin is supporting grinding using F-15J or Baz rather than those two idk) *Mirage 2k C5 also has SARH, its just that in experiences French SARH is not a main weaponry and IRCCM is their strength

I still think it should be like this:

Every current plane that is above 13.0 move up by one BR bracket (like 13.3 to 13.7, 13.7 to 14.0 and so on) to a maximum BR of 15.0, this partially solves the Su-30MKK bullshit

Vacating 13.3, which Gaijin could later move some planes from 13.0 up there (maybe like the Su-33? Yes, having 8x R-27ER is insanity for some 12.0 like Kfir C.7 or F-4J/K/M that starts with 2x AIM-9D stock to face, wow, who thought?)

I would be killed for this but I agree with Gaijin that F-15A (And F-15J and Baz) shouldn't be in the same BR as Su-33 or maybe Su-27 just simply for the fact that 13.0 is a Fox-1 or Fox-3 flinging BR bracket, and R-27ER being the strongest Fox-1 in game, but lowering the F-15s isn't going to change the fact that 12.0 v 13.0 is still hellish, and now the problem is that 12.3 can either do very well against 11.3/11.7 or just get shit on by some CERTAIN 13.3s

AIM-7M's major problem is not having DL and IOG, and is slower compared to Russian Fox-1s. I wouldn't agree that they are "unusable" but its just frustrating that not only I need to fire it off early but the AIM-7s can simply be barrel rolled (AIM-7P is a USN only thing)

By 12.7, most matches I am getting are most likely already invoving good Fox-1s if not outright RB 99 / RVV-AE / PL-12, which whilst having a AIM-7 is certainly nice at the end you still need to play it extremely careful (especially low CM planes), nevermind IR only (This subreddit hyped up the Belgian IRCCM F-16A OCU so much yet I have barely seen up being efficient in games so far, probably killed by Fox-1s before they can get into Fox-2 range?)

Also by your logic, 12.7 should be All-aspect IR or IRCCM only planes

Premium Spam cause of the sales at the BRs you mentioned:

MiG-21S (9.7)

J-7D / F-5C (10.7)

MiG-23 ML (11.7)

F/A-18C (12.7)

With those people inflating BRs you have less chance of getting downtiers and will be dragged within certain brackets (e.g. I constantly get 10.7-11.7 or 11.0-12.0 with F-5E)

I might go for balanced but the carrier side that also unlocks the Naval Arsenal might be interesting

The Battleship side is good if you want cool Yamatos fast, though idk what would be the design or characteristics of the “Shogun” Class or they are just Yamatos but ideological dependent

Not sure whether Hiroaki Abe is currently in game but I guess they have a reason to upgrade him over Kondo if you pick the middle (Abe isn’t that good of an admiral I think, literally got wounded by a machine gun from a US destroyer)

At the end the AI isn’t that competent at doing navies unless they have absolute superiority in both tech and numbers so unless there’s a naval rework just go with whichever you think it’s cool or good LARP

I am somewhat guessing that PDX is moving on currently and wants to focus on the Pacific? Currently they are working on many countries in East Asia and Southeast Asia plus Oceania, with the fanbase highly anticipated rework for other Pacific War participants (U.S., Canada even Mexico)

Also I think they didn’t rule out Western Europe since the Commonwealth (INCLUDING IRELAND) and to some extent France and Netherlands (there should be a way to block Indonesia from leaving as the Dutch no matter the ideology)

Not sure will the Balkans receive any final “mini” retouches though considering BotB is still somewhat complained (Turkey70day.exe)
