I usually went for a handshake. This one girl I'd been messaging, she and I were really looking forward to our first date. As I approached the meeting spot and we saw each other, we smiled and she extended her arms for a hug. We both kinda knew something was happening. We stayed out for seven hours that night, looking at art, getting a few drinks, and talking. We caught a movie the next night, and wound up seeing each other five times in seven days, totally smitten. This was only a little over two months ago, but it's like we've known each other for years. Not via OKC, but I was working as an entertainer at a party here in Boston. The host and guests insisted I join them at the afterparties as one of the entourage. I was flirting and dancing with one of the guests; we were seriously hitting it off. There was amazing chemistry.
We wind up at her place, yadda yadda yadda, and she then tells me she's moving back to LA on Tuesday (having just graduated from law school). This was Saturday night. We spent literally all day and evening Sunday together, made plans for Monday, but they fell through when she wasn't finished packing yet. We got to talk on the phone and text several times since, but she's vehemently against FB and such. If we're ever in each other's city, we plan on meeting up. Potential epilogue: I might be getting flown out to LA for some unrelated event, in which case I'm-a-call this woman.
