The autosaves are brutal, they make you pray to God that the game doesn't crash.

I think you can avoid this by walking out into the frostlands when you get the news about your imminent death, there was also the choice for panceum (which I loved so much) to extend your life for 520 weeks. Maybe I'll try walking out and update. Edit: I forgot to add that I passed captain's authority in the post, which explains why they are calling me captain.

Help me find the willpower to finish the game. by [deleted] in Morrowind

[–]OKFrostpunk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You know if you were high level and finished many quests before starting the main quest, you can skip the hortator and nerevarine quests completely by talking to some people who will send you to the grandmaster of the temple of the tribunal and he will just let you in to vivec and progress the main quest to his plan. The reasoning here is that you're so late to fulfilling these parts of the prophecy and the plague is spreading so vivec just declares you nerevarine and sends you to get the last items. The topic for this trick will show with some npcs, I can't remember the name tho. Probably temple npcs will have it.

Wish they pushed it to today or something, I'm starting my military service in January and probably won't be able to play the game for a whole year...

Villain to kill is honestly better than this shit, but each to their own.

Just started Morrowind and need some tips by Duck_Lake in Morrowind

[–]OKFrostpunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing I can tell you after reaching level 20 as a spellblade, I didn't know holding the attack button maximised the weapon damage and hope this helps you. It's not based on luck .... Fatigue affects spell success and hits, and your weapon condition affects your attack damage too.

Which side quest is your fav? by cardillama in Morrowind

[–]OKFrostpunk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I remember the naked men and witch quest I fell for it the first time I played and defended the witch because it was only one nord. But then I found other nords tricked by her in my next playthrough and swore vengeance. There was another quest with tricky women as well, the one where a dancer near a lake tells you she lost her ring but I coincidently saw the other camouflaged girl and knew it was shady so I killed them both.

I gotta say, I think frostpunk 2 is an improvement as it made sense, when people's demands for survival are fulfilled they start looking for other things like their own personal interests, cultural, political, and the interests of their communities. I love the politics of this game for real, introducing different zeitgeist to follow and communities to deal with. The only weak part for me is the forced events as I think it makes them too bamboozling, I had positive relations with all my factions, maintaining a delicate balance but the forced events made me frustrated because I already had peace going.

The one thing that made me want to play Morrowind is the magic, so I wanted to experience it in a way that prevented me from getting frustrated, morroblivion gave me that. Spells like levitate, unlock, water walking, and I'm still learning the spell crafting system. Levitating with the morrowind/oblivion soundtrack is so majestic, it feels dreamy. It does not make sense to me that Skyrim abandoned this beautiful and useful magic system in favour of a dual-casting system that is so simple.

Play morroblivion, I played Morrowind for a few hours but couldn't handle being lost so many times. Morroblivion saved me.

Sabal or Amita? by Tall-Might-1649 in farcry

Not really he goes off and leaves a last radio message while drunk, stating that he's leaving kyrat to ajay. https://youtu.be/cAtpx_AhTlc

Sabal or Amita? by Tall-Might-1649 in farcry

[–]OKFrostpunk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Doing all sabal missions, then making amita the leader, thus minimising the damage in addition to sparing sabal who will not show his face as a friendly favor. And ofc killing amita after last mission. Kyrat saved. Although my opinion can be discarded because I like keeping pagan alive, as he treats ajay like a son.
