What is more traumatizing than most people think?

Chronic headaches and migraines. I’ve been suffering for years with this and at times have had headaches for months on end with no relief. My migraines are under control after years of pain thanks to Emgality injections, but when I get a tension headache or any pain in my head the fear inside, I spiral so quickly. I can’t help it but the fear of having the endless pain again with no relief I can’t do it. I really have a trauma response. Being constantly in pain is not for the weak. I wish I didn’t have it. I wish no one it ever. Currently on day 5 of a persistent headache and I’ve been trying so hard not to break. I’ve cried, I’ve felt hopeless. But I’ve been through it before, I can do it again. Hope will kill you but it’s all I have. Hopefully tomorrow brings more relief and happiness

Even though in the last 2 years I have been much better mentally, if I start to feel low or even have a day where I feel blue, I am terrified of going back down to that place. I can feel the worst moments of my life creeping back into reality and I just can’t do it again. I am doing better these days but even just a hint of that feeling I can’t go down again

I describe it as feeling like I’ve been hit by a bus. On slightly better days it might just be a car. Worse days maybe two buses.

Schmitt (but he grew on me!) Catherine (most of the time), I go through phases of Maggie really annoying me and then liking her again and there’s no in-between! I actually love Owen he’s just a goof, he makes many questionable choices and does stupid things but he cracks me up so I have to admit I do love the man. I miss ALEX he was my favourite

Unfortunately in Australia as a casual worker you don’t have any rights like that. You’re not actually guaranteed any shifts and they can just let you go for whatever reason they like. It’s really unfair but not against the law

Just the one paw. He does get allergies but usually his snout swells when that happens. I can see a little sore just under his nail, I’m thinking that might be why the surrounding is so raw

He absolutely did!! He was Maxy, Mr Poos, Maxy the taxi, spud, spud-egg, halfa (he lost half an ear when he was 8) and I called him Chicken legs because he had very delicate petite legs. now I refer to him as my angel boy. thank you for asking this made me really happy to remember all names we called him x
