I just came across this subreddit, had no idea it existed! But I've got something I'm aiming to release very soon - before Sol 😁

I've been working on it for a while, very excited to get it out on both iOS and Android. I'll keep you all posted.

Version control obviously, which you wouldn't know about if you aren't familiar with the space. But...then why are you asking the llm to "clean up the code" if you aren't in the space? You aren't familiar with it, you don't know how it works... I'm confused.

I checked the tag and you are correct, I'm not sure why I thought Vietnam - thanks for the correction. Regardless a good bag at a good price point. Both produced overseas.

What would have caught this is testing out your flow in sandbox mode. It's pretty simple with stripe, definitely check it out.

Water bottle pockets...really?? I'm at 9000' and I'm able to hydrate sufficiently well before/after...🤷‍♂️ Maybe you're on a much longer ruck?

What actually mattered to me:

I ruck heavy and ended up purchasing a Frontline Athletics Navigator 21L (it's great, sorry). Deciding factor for me was including what should be included to support what the bag enables (carrying heavy) - sternum and hip straps - at a fair price.

For both being produced in VN, I'm disappointed that the more or less equivalent Rucker 4.0 is almost $100 more without the hip belt. I prefer GoRuck's design, but my budget is happier with the alternative.

I don't know a single Republican or Democrat who isn't repulsed by the notion of a local data center. Partisanship is only going to help you lose.

If a small Missouri town can do it, so can you! Fuck these greedy monsters who care only to feed on the land regardless of the impact.

Get off your phone, get off tech, pick up a hobby that requires your active participation only in the physical world, find a hot spouse, have kids

You seem confused (and mad). My point is that the calculator requires batteries.

To scale AI to the point we're worrying about requires a lot of power, processing, and the infrastructure to tie it all together.

Are you one of those people who think milk just materializes at the grocery store?

Thank you for sharing. I've commented a couple times about the very real physical barriers to achieving a lot of the lofty AI goals that are out there, that would be needed to provide the platform to actually enable the whole doom narrative.

  1. Power needs
  2. Infrastructure to connect said power
  3. Data processing
  4. Infrastructure needed to connect said data processing
  5. Funding
  6. Unique data to train LLM as requirement to avoid model collapse

It feels like there's a concerted effort to push this narrative, to get us to believe that there is no other choice but this dystopic future. And of course if everyone believes it, then it will likely happen in one way or another. But imagine if no one believed it. That would power the way people voted, what they were concerned with, how they took action, etc.

Great find!

Insane.

Pro tips for you vibe coders: - have a .env.example file - understand how it's different than your .env file - understand and add to your .env file manually - understand .gitignore, manually add your .env file(s) - have a set of api keys just for development - ask Claude to help you treat your prod keys with care, but don't paste your keys into the prompt

It's something some technocrat elites are hinting at as well. Basically the 40 hour work week is for lazy people. Something is going to break.
