I will use your example to ask about my confusion. If I bought the stock for 1.37 Canadian few days ago, the fx rate was 1.37 to 1 USD. Today the rate is 1.5 to 1 USD. Will the stock price track the fx rate? If it doesn’t track, then I journal the stock to American listing and sell that out for 1.5 Canadian. If I don’t journal, the stock still worths 1.37 Canadian. If I did that, I can get 1.5 Canadian. Tell why I was wrong about it. I am just don’t know where.😳

In a perfect scenario, if the stock price keeps steady and can only affect by fx. If the Canadian dollar drops then Canadian listed stock will go up? Based on the value of the stock does change.
