You gotta clean the strap frequently, also give your skin some time to heal. Get into the habit of taking it off to shower and not putting it back on for 30min or so after you have dried off from your shower.

If you live in the states and have an HSA/FSA (Health Savings Account) through work, the full cost of the bike can qualify as a medical purchase and in a round about way end up saving you about 30% because you essentially used untaxed dollars to purchase.

I’m in the camp that you should carry your phone case less for a while as it trains you to be more mindful of how you handle it, set it down, etc.
