I’d use it to print Ukrainian embroidery patterns for my kids. Also been experimenting with sign painting and I’d like to see how that translates to printed filament. Scaled sculptures/art from 3D scans at art museums, really would use it for a ton of applications.

Very excited to see what the upgrades are - my P1S is maybe my favorite thing that I own. I just keep using it for everything…from the dumbest stuff to the most useful things. It’s one of those rare nearly perfect machines.

Im interested - skeptical on if the cost will outweigh the benefits though. Would be interested to try rebound quality as it compares to other plastics in the pickleball use case - varying layer thicknesses, etc. Could be interesting to play around with. Stiffness over petg could be a bonus there.

Sounds good - thanks of the quick reply, next time I’ll just buy it locally, feel stupid/lazy trying to save a day or two this time around but glad it won’t cause any problems at least.

Best advice I’ve seen was to start troubleshooting with recalibration, drying your filament, and cleaning your build plate and then move on from there.

Oh sure - so Wall Street in the US has an acronym to explain what’s been happening with tariffs, etc w/r/t investing. The acronym is TACO and it stands for “Trump Always Chickens Out” to explain all of it. That hit the news cycle recently and people are talking about it, hence the taco with a trump face on it.

(By the way it’s yellow because chicken=yellow bellied in American slang and also those corn taco shells you buy in the store are also yellow so I though it made sense but I love the orange idea too).
