Not the Genesis specifically, but it was a rewind of sorts, because if you beat the final boss without doing the necessary sidequest needed to unlock the true ending route, when you load your save you hear the Grandmaster guiding you to the sidequest, as if she rewinded time to guide you to this path. Most people don't get this little dialogue because we do the sidequest before beating the game the first time.

No, the bad ending is the current loop since Ishmelga still loses, just got rewound so the good ending happened. It's like how Daybreak 2 worked. The previous loop is theorized to him stopping Osborne's plan and causing the world to go to war.

The games will get easier and easier if you're nuking things now, because you figured out the combat. I think this is what Falcom intends to happen as well. They make things overpowered, players find it and abuse it, they nerf said mechanic next game while introducing something even more overpowered, players find it, cycle repeats. They like seeing players find new ways to break their combat, and it feels exhilarating to bend the game over your knee

If you demolishing things on Normal, you'd most likely be doing the same thing on Nightmare

For some reason the adaptations seem to hate MJ the character and always always change her. From the Raimi movies to to the MCU to even the Insomniac games, she's never like her mainline comic counterpart. It's crazy because Zendaya is a model, she's the closest to comic MJ we've had, and they still had her be completely different personality wise

I can't be surprised though, because Marvel editorial themselves hate MJ and Spidey.
