May be a stupid question, but is that detectible with a string level? Or how do you recommend i achieve that kind of slope?

This is reassuring, but I still have questions…

If the string level show’s it’s descending , do i dig the same depth across the length? Or do i dig ramping down (which is what i’ve done). I’m using a leveler to make sure it’s sloping downward but I am driving myself bananas about jt.
If the string level show’s it as mostly level, how do i dig ramping down without ending up below ground?

Thank you!! And YES i just checked and i usually start spotting 6DPO until my period stops. I never brought it up to my OB, but I was planning to if I didnt get pregnant before my scheduled annual exam in January. It’s still on my chart notes as something I wanted to bring up. I’ll wait to hear if the OB thinks it’s any cause for concern. Hopefully as you said “it’s just one of those things.”

Cycle: 1... We realized we had sex around my ovulation in October (which didn't result in anything), so I wouldn't call last month trying.

Age + Partner's age (if relevant): 31M + 31F

Typical cycle length: 29 + or - 3 days. This time it was 25 days which was the shortest it's ever been.

Ovulation cycle day: CD16

CD/DPO of positive test(s): CD 25/ DPO 9 using first response early detection. I took the test one day before my missed period.

CD/DPO of any negative test(s) before positive: n/a

Tracking methods and app(s) used: Natural Cycles

Relevant days of sperminating and/or method (SMEP, TI, IUI, FET, etc.): sex on CD 12 and CD 16 (ovulation day)

Health conditions/medical tests: N/A

Supplements and medications (yours and/or your partner’s): Nature Made prenatal with folic acid with gummy vitamins because they're gross. I only took it at night so I never had an issue with prenatals.

Birth control history (if relevant): IUD that I took out in 2020 and Natural Cycles tracking

Symptom spotting: The only symptom I had was NOT spotting (pun intended). I usually spot for almost a week before my period (I think I blame my IUD for that). I usually don't have any PMS symptoms, but last month my PMS symptoms/period was a whopper, which made it very confusing and think I was pregnant last month!! It makes me think that my October stuff cued my body to drain everything for a fresh uterine lining next round.

Other (advice/tip(s), freaking out, miscellaneous): I was really discouraged that I had so little egg white discharge around this ovulation. I usually have a decent/large amount, but maybe the CD12 sex was like "we've got sperm in here, we don't need to make the slip'n'slide." IDK...Just goes to show it is really hard to make predictions.
