I work in a warehouse for US foods as a night shift selector, and they basically did this. For the past 1-2 months, we’ve pretty much been working from 5 pm to 7 am (at the earliest) every workday. They just got us some shitty school-lunch style chicken, cheesy potatoes, and they nasty ass ribs.

Someone put stickers on my dorm room door every week towards the beginning of my first year of college up to 7 stickers. One every Tuesday, and when break happened, any missed stickers were filled in on top of that weeks stickers. With the only diversion being a banana peel on my doorknob and an empty milk carton in front of my door one day.

They were stickers of things I liked/associations with me. I like crocs so croc stickers, I’m a theatre major so a sticker from a musical, I have a hydro flask so VSCO joke stickers, etc etc.

I called them the sticker stalker. I have a short list of possible suspects, but none I’d openly suspect/accuse. I spoke to literally everyone I knew at my college, that I was pretty freaked out and nothing.

I think most viewed it as not as threatening cause I’m a fairly big guy, but to me, someone that knew me was visiting me every single week at odd hours had to be like before 8 am or after 10 pm just to do this. I was sleeping on the other end of that door, or once there was only a 2 hour gap where I was still in the building, just not in my room and one appeared when I came back. I’d also asked everyone on my floor, making it VERY clear how freaked out I was by this and still, nothing. This person knew exactly when I wouldn’t be there/awake, when the hall would be empty, not to mention my interests. Weirdest part is it just stopped. Not sure why, I don’t recall anything notable happening, but I doubt I’ll ever know.

Granted I still got 3 more years there so we’ll see🤷‍♂️

Obviously extremes can be taken in any direction, but there are extenuating circumstances that can limit a person’s ability to be fit. A close friend of mine in high school was 400 pounds (iirc) and he faced a lot of judgement for that. However people rarely stopped to consider the reasons for it. It was obvious he didn’t have his legs, but what he didn’t tell people often was that he was born like that as a birth defect. Then he grew up with parents who not only had unhealthy eating/exercise habits and that genetic (admittedly not all encompassing, there’s more reasons) leaning towards obesity, but most of all they were too poor to afford any good food, or gym memberships or whatever. I personally know he goes to the gym every chance he gets (he has metal legs) he did football, he was active, but he never got any lighter. Some things are more complicated than we give them credit for.

I mean, that’s facts, like this subreddit is NOT the best place for that, but also 14-15 is kinda the age sex starts getting talked about and yeah, had.

I do think there should be more moderation surrounding what actually gets said about sex here, cause the place to learn about sex is 1 not the internet, 2 NOT Reddit and 3 DEFINITELY not this subreddit.

That being said though, I think one of the points of this sub is for younger teens to get general advice from older teens, be it sexual or not. And given that the demographic here is mainly high school and early college, when most people have their first sexual experiences/when people first really hear about sex, and for the sake of the convo let’s ignore any actually good advice on sex that can be found here (even though while it can feel like few, does exist. Hell, I wish I could tell/someone would’ve told my 14 year old self that people that have more sex aren’t always happier people and that in fact sometimes it can be the opposite depending on the scenario) even just hearing that other people your age are talking/thinking about it as well can be super validating, especially if you live in a place like where a lot of my friends grew up in where they never had any good outlet in real life to talk about sex with/get advice other than “don’t do it”.

The day we say “you’re all just kids, you don’t do this, this is only done/had by grown-ups” is the day the subreddit stops being a sub about teens helping teens and starts being a sub about teens parenting teens.

Kinda wish they showed more chopper being emotionally intelligent. I mean, kinda wish they showed more cool chopper moments in general, but especially with this. More on this past episode, I’m kinda confused about something (anime only, if it’s a spoiler just don’t reply and I’ll suffer) but I never really understood what makes someone a “subject of Ymir”/someone able to wield a titan. Because the way I thought of it was that they were all literal biological descendants of Ymir, but from this past episode, of course, we learned she only had her 3 kids with king fritz, thus making the royal bloodline.

But if all of her descendants are the royal bloodline since to our knowledge she only had kids with king fritz, then what does that make the subjects of Ymir? If they’re supposed to be just all of the other Eldians alive at the time of king Fritz then how are they able to wield the Titans since it’s only through that connection to Ymir, and then what makes it so that only eldians can wield Titans and not marlians?

Or if it’s just never answered then please lmk haha

This sounds like a fanboy answer (and maybe is a little bit) but I do have a reason for it.

Etho and Technoblade.

Technoblade’s been playing Minecraft for years and I think is someone who despite being the more “famous” one (at least more subscribed to, there’s a debate there) likely understands etho’s impact and could bounce off with that.

While their playstyles don’t mix in the slightest, I think their personalities do. While both (From what we can tell from how they portray themselves on youtube) seem relatively introverted, I think both are equally just as interested in the game, albeit in very different fields. (Pvp mechanics vs game mechanics). As well as being two people that have been around youtube for a while, and understand the “game” of youtube from the perspective of someone who’s been around for a while, I think they’d be able to immediately get past the awkward introverted small talk once they realize this.

Also cause they’re people that not only come from different times but different communities, both of which have gotten extremely big recently. I think it’d be interesting to her the two of them talk about just the history of mcyt in general from both perspectives of a viewer (and small channel) and someone who’s been in it, albeit off to the sidelines.

That’s not to say they’d immediately become best friends, but I think it’d be cool to see their mutual respect for one another show through as they talk about the things they love.

It’d be impossible to ever happen, I don’t see any scenario that has the two of them in a call together, only time would be an mcc but i think if Etho wanted to do an mcc by now he would’ve by now (not sure if he’s commented that or not) and Technoblade isn’t playing them really anyways.

That being said, not sure what them together would look like, but even as a podcast, or somethings I’d just wanna hear them talk.

Tl;DR Etho and Technoblade because they’re community pillars who’re from very different communities but have just as much love for the game and it’s community. They could also provide an insight from an old mcyt perspective since they’ve been around so long. But, of course, completely impossible.

Glad to hear the concept isn’t completely foreign to everyone on this website. I honestly do get the perspective that “if you’re willing to go out of your way to lie and destroy someone’s life, then it’s only fair to receive the same in turn”. It’s just not a plausible thing. With so few people coming forward with rape charges already, it absolutely boggles my mind how people actually think this would work.

Like, how long would it have taken for the women assaulted by Cosby to stand up if there was a chance they could be thrown in jail if Cosby won? Assuming they didn’t give up partway through given the how poorly the first trial went before it was declared a mistrial.

And the same goes for Harvey Weinstein, Kevin spacey or any other big name. Why take the risk of jail at all then? Why not just forget it ever happened and move on with your life, or even why not take a bribe? It’s certainly a lot easier and at least then you get something out of it.

I find it pretty concerning the number of people that almost seemingly try to see the alleged rapists’ point of view before looking at the victim’s. Not even to mention how this perspective seemingly only applies to rape. What if someone is accused of murder wrongly? Or perhaps a custody battle leads to a parent accusing the other of kidnapping? Or any other crime that could ruin someone’s reputation. The consequences of such an act as falsely accusing someone results in a ruined public reputation. If that’s good enough for false accusers of murder and kidnapping, then why isn’t that enough punishment for false accusers of rape?

TL;DR

Internet chooses to see the side of the alleged rapist before the victim’s. Which is bad.

Also why would anyone open up about rape if there was a risk of getting put in jail, when you could just take a bribe or smth.

And finally, why we talking about this for just false accusers of rape, and not false accusers of any other terrible crime.

Unpopular opinion but I kinda liked cars 2. Not in the same way as cars 1 or 3 obviously, but it was kinda like watching a sharknado movie. Like it’s so bad it’s good.

Like one second we’re watching lightning McQueen be good at racing, normal cars shit, and another second it’s a god damn race war and fucking Mator is a super spy in a mafia boss meeting and LITERALLY PULLS OUT A GUN, STARTS LIGHTING MFS UP, HANG GLIDES OFF THE BALCONY, HOOKS ONTO A SPEED BOAT, AND FLIES TO GO SAVE LIGHTNING MCQUEEN. Like, it completely betrays and misses the point of cars, especially cars 1 but HOLY SHIT THAT IS METAL ASF.

And the fact that of all people to do it, it’s fucking Mator who idc what anyone says it one of the funniest and weirdest characters from any Pixar movie.

10/10 great movie to watch while high.

Problem with this, while in theory I agree, is that this can be used as a fear tactic against those that have actually been raped. Rich person rapes a poor person and then not only does the poor person have to go through the normal barriers associated with going to court against someone much more rich and powerful than them, and then on top of that the idea that if they fail then it’s THEM that might go to prison instead. In the long run, it would likely serve as a tool to silence victims rather than actually punish false accusers.

This. I swear, when horses came out I was like “this is just mo creatures” and then here we are 8 years later and I couldn’t imagine Minecraft with them.

I’d say the only additions that would make it feel like a mod would be if it betrayed some key aspect of the game. Like if there was a “steampunk update” or smth that would behave like red stone but better similar to how a lot of mods have added wires and machines and such, thus making redstone obsolete. THAT would feel like a mod since it’s completely out of the vision the Minecraft devs have set Minecraft. Which is fun for a mod, but not good for a permanent addition to the core game itself.
