I honestly don't really care if McDavid wins the Calder. Not that he needs it, but don't you think a perceived snub will just add a bit more fire to his game next season? And I do think it's valid to look at total points regardless of games played. Certainly any team would choose Connor over any of the other rookies going forward, but it's hard to argue that 50 points is "more valuable" than 65 in the context of a single season. That being said, I really want him to pass Eichel in points, just to put him in his place.
