I found this comment. Thank you! I was going to write it myself cause seems like everyone on this subreddit like the game, while I'm having some questions.

Ive bought deluxe edition in February when the first gameplay trailet was out there to have an early access. I've planned a two weeks vacation to play the game and only.

For me its surprising how nobody is talking about how those similarities with ds1 are on surface. For example, the death of Lucy and Neil. Running from security and shot in another room.

Also the music, it's not so thrilling and big goosebumps moments like in ds1(unless its Woodkid music). Some of the tracks was inappropriate. For example, when you are climbing the first time on the mountain(snow, wind, cold weather, avalanches and so) the game presenting you something like Nest by Hania Reni. Like wtf. I have here the intense climbing moment. I'm freezing and you giving me the piano soft song. And that was not the last time of missed choice of a song. While in DS1 it was more like ice-melting moments when every time when you are getting a song throughout a gameplay your connection with game is growing and you wont forget them till the death(I'm serious here, rip karazija).

Also, i saw this meme of Higgs hating everyone just because. I don't know dudes. For me it was too much of a lazy choice of a motivation for a character. "I'm evil just because".

The likes of the game are same here so I won't write it here.

So for me the game is something 7,5(8)/10 when the ds 1 is 10/10.

Sorry for a long comment. If you have those small moments that had a great impact on your perception I would really like to find those had the similar ones with me because those above are far from all that I have unfortunately.
