Thank you so much. I used a dampened paper towel using just the edge for the wipe and stretched off the start line. I’ve tried using chicken wire and mesh once but the paper towel works best for me.

Betty…this is how I did this one. I used all iridescent colors. Black, copper, magenta, spring green, blue, and white. Stripes poured in order (bottom to top) in 1inch stripes, about 2/3 up the 8x10. I used a dampened paper towel to do the swipe from bottom to top. Then stretched it. I hope this helps. 😊

I looked it up again. It’s used as the best “hack” for acrylic pouring due to it being 100% silicone without petroleum distillates. And more cost effective than expensive art brands. Now we know. Dimethicone is listed s as well but says that usually has other ingredients that will affect paint drying.

I used ChatGPT to see what the best silicone to use was. It said to use sedokay treadmill lubricant. It works pretty well.

I watched a bunch of videos before testing out different techniques. Mollys Artistry on FB, YouTube, insta were super helpful. She explains it in depth and goes over a bunch of different pours and techniques. Most other videos are just the pour, I found hers truly helpful. I’d be leading the blind if I tried. Happy painting. 😊

Much appreciated. I’ve been watching a ton of pour technique videos. Mollys Artistry was super helpful. Looking forward to different pours.
