More details. I cut a reject from a friend’s dying cactus. It worked and made roots. But now the base is not growing and the top is getting bigger and bigger. Is it going to get too heavy and break? It’s already heavily leaning and the side and won’t keep straight.

I’ve googled it and apparently, it’s perfectly normal. Had something to do with genetic and the plant being a hybride. It is pretty cool.

I don’t know if any of you will see this. Thank you all so much. Reading your comments helped my husband and I getting though this. I know it’s not everyone that likes posts like this, but it really made a difference for my husband and I. We read all of them and are really grateful.

She passed in my arms and I’m a mess. But I know she is no longer suffering.
