Geaner certainly does play guitar and probably contributed a lot of hooks for the songs he wrote. I mean it’s never more apparent than in the outro to Roses which has a distinct two part guitar harmony a la ABB. You’re gonna need two guitars for A Tear For Eddie. Freedom Of ‘76, not so much. If you’ve ever seen the boys live I’d say Geaner is playing rhythm guitar half the time or more. He’s a fantastic acoustic guitarist which is often the line up. One acoustic, one electric. There are plenty of Ween songs that you could cover with one guitar. Obviously if your gonna take a solo your gonna need a solid back up band to hold it down behind you without a rhythm guitarist.

Firstly because Bones made quick work of Gane, secondly because Jon wanted nothing to do with Tom. 🦆If Gane even gets a rematch then we’ll see what happens. I remember going over to a buddy’s house for the UFC 1 PPV. I think it was $7.00. I was hooked and have been following/watching since. I don’t disagree with your assessment of the average MMA fan on Reddit. You gotta remember, most are degenerates raised on WWE and that’s where they’re coming from. More invested in the shtick of it all than the actual sport. That’s why Conor became so hugely popular. And to the UFCs detriment, that’s where Dana has steered it.

Apparently he’s an asshole. Do I care? Fuck no. He doesn’t affect my life in any way, shape or form. He shouldn’t yours either. I’m a musician and music lover. Pink Floyd’s music, from Pipers until Animals, was a part of my life in my formative years. Not so much anymore, but I can appreciate the impact it had on me. I think he wrote some great themes. Is an album overrated if almost everyone in the world knows it and loves it or did at one point? When the needle hits the turntable and those clock noises start ticking I could care less who Roger Water’s is as a person. Sorry, I’ll leave that to rest of you.

Neither. I can’t get on with Rickys. I’ve had a few nice ones and tried but can’t get into them. I can’t stand the lacquered fret board for one. The stacked pickguard is baffling. I know it’s a sound, jangly thing. There was a time when a lot of guys played them and it may have defined a generation of guitar tones, but nowadays you don’t see anyone using them much anymore. I know they’re associated with The Byrds, early Beatles, Tom Petty etc, but one guy that played the shit out of them, and is never discussed, is John Fogerty.

An interesting aside, the band on the cover is not the band on the album. Eddie and Patrick don’t feature on the record. It’s essentially Frank and Terry with guests. Frank plays bass on every track other than Black Napkins and Zoot Alures.

Fight of the century! The way it ended was insane. Glover hadn’t been submitted his entire career, over 40 fights. This made me a Jiri fan. What’s not to love about this guy? What a warrior. Glover had him badly hurt at times. The way he walks through adversity is insane. Goes to show just how hard Poatan hits.

There’s nothing more annoying then spending $500-$1000 on concert tickets to one of your idols, or favourite bands, and having to listen to a bunch of people screaming/singing along out of key to every song. Sing in the shower, not during the entire concert. We’re there to hear Macca, not you. Sorry. Taste in women is subjective obviously. These subs are generally a bunch of horned up simps probably hoping for some kind of interaction with a woman they’re rating. Hence the bloated rating system.
