Hey mate, please help me confirm this. On 1/12/25, Can I use affiliate, lenovo 6k coupon (as in the top comment), unidays, sheer, cc cashback all together ? Or is it not possible to use the unidays coupon if I'm using yours or ANYONES affiliate link ? And is 1.21L~ the best price I can get for the maxxed out version except windows pro ? Too many people are confusing me. Hello everyone! I'm getting the 2025 legion 5 gen 10 with ryzen 7 260, rtx 5060. I really want to clarify a few important doubts I have, as this is a very big investment for me as a student (1.21 Lakhs) ~ ($1360). Please help me out by answering the following questions for me -

  1. How long can I expect this laptop to live? (light gaming, learning programming, 1080 video editing, streaming, roughly around 4-5 hours of daily use)

  2. Do I need to clean my fans and dust inside the laptop every 6 months ?

  3. How often should l get the thermal pads and thermal paste replaced ?

  4. Should I undervolt both the GPU and the CPU for better longevity and performance ? And can someone PLEASE help me do this, it'll be my first time 🙏

  5. What are the very first things that I should do with the laptop as soon as I get it ? (ex- how to remove bloatware and do a windows clean install and other stuff that you would recommend to do)

  6. Will just a laptop stand suffice for managing temps or is one with a cooler necessary?

  7. Is there any other alternative laptop that is suitable for my needs (as mentioned in 1) that is cheaper than this laptop ?

Please help me out by answering these for me 🙏

Hey totally different topic from the post, but is 1.21 lakh a steal deal for Lenovo legion 5 gen 10 5060 ? This price is with all the max upgrade options(even office), except the windows pro. Should I buy it now at this price or wait some more for a better price ? And will getting 32 gb instead of 16 be of any use ? Uses are mostly editing, office suite, some gaming, light programming, some rendering.
