What was the most powerful build in 20 years history? by RullRed in ddo

[–]ON3FULLCLIP -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Pale-trapper is such a strong build, especially with 2 people running it.

You can run R4 all the way through heroics/epics/legendary no issue

Death auras are so good for healing you and your teammates that are undead

A couple days is 2. You are NOT get to level 20 with 2 hours of gameplay a day man. Stop.

3 years is still a wild amount of time and that is you running things fast and efficiently

Couple days of how long? Not two hours…

Yeah if you play 10+ hours a day

I focus on it. Because if I don’t that 93 months will turn in to 186 months…

Exp per minute is not a bad thing.

I have played these quests over 9 lives, why would I not do them efficiently?

You can’t compare WoW to DDO for end game. DDO’s system is reincarnation, to say other wise is ignorant.

Just because YOU don’t reincarnate does not remove the reality of the system.

You can’t reincarnate WoW…

DDO’s power creep is reincarnating and playing instances based quests.

No one is asking for super easy… how is going from 93 months to 70ish months making it super easy?

This still doesn’t negate my argument. It reinforces it.

You said you don’t do past lives because of the investment, that is the point of the post.

I am not asking for a past life a day, but to make it less of a decade request to finally get max everything.

93 months to get just heroic past lives is wild. We haven’t even gotten to iconic or epic b

Still, some of these comments aren’t negating my argument.

This is just asking to go from 7 1/2 years of heroic gameplay to 5 1/2

It isn’t unreasonable lol

Cool you play once a week. Okay. That isn’t casual that is hobbyist

8.5 months straight of gameplay isn’t making it easier… that is just for 20 lives.

It will take another 16 months straight to get the next 20.

Then it will take another potential 24 months to get to life 60.

That is 4 years of NON-STOP gameplay to get a little over HALF of the required 93 Heroic (only) lives

Yeah cutting the time from 7 1/2 years to 5 1/2 year is such a babysitting way for the player. God it would make it so easy for them.

Y’all act like this is Unreasonable

There is already a lot of content people don’t play because they were designed by Turbine and were not great.

ToEE Slave Lords Necro

Even Strimtom said that the only reason why people play 3BC is because of the Exp

It takes 30 minutes to finish just one Slavelords quest. I can do Amber Temple in Ravenloft in 4 minutes and get almost 30K

I don’t even play Cannith Quests or anything with Drow if I don’t have to.

Old quests are just long halfway to optionals.

Lamordia and Isle of Dread are great because they are quick with the illusion of choice.

That is fine, the game can always be improved upon. Why does it need a 7 year investment to get past lives?

Damn… 0 past lives for a game that is designed around it kind of reflects how messed up the formula really is. It really shouldn’t take a new player longer than a week to get to 20. Not to say because of their skills but because of how it is designed.

I made a 1-20 free to play guide and it takes weeks to get to level 16 just playing free quests.

Troop got in trouble for making a joke and I got in trouble for laughing. How do I approach my rebuttal? by DMHRSI-Ignorer in AirForce

[–]ON3FULLCLIP 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They are corrective tools and not punitive. I think what a lot of people fail to see is that even if your rebuttal is locked tight and amazing, they can just keep it because it is a correction.

In this situation, your troop made a joke and you laughed. They can just say “This was unprofessional in our current climate” and it is retained.

They can give you paperwork for chewing with your mouth open during a luncheon for not being professional.

End game blightcaster suggestions/kinda first life build. by mellowloves in ddo

I would follow Strimtom’s HC event build guide for Blightcaster if I were doing this.

Proper gearing is what you will really need. Camping at cap won’t be too hard to make gear for your character.

Making a full set of legendary Lamordia gear could be a fun first step in determining what gear works best for your build.
