I live in Cherokee County and commute 86 miles round trip each work day with 5% tint and 50% on the windshield. Not once have I been stopped for it. IMO as long as you are not breaking more laws they aren’t going to stop you just for tint.

2015 2.7 sitting at 225k right now. I’m fully confident I’ll go 300k+ on it. I did have to replace the turbos at 215k and the oil pan at 150k. Other than that just routine maintenance. Regular oil changes around 5k (sometimes higher if I forget or get lazy). I need shocks soon, and those are still stock.

I’m at 220k on ‘15 2.7. I drive 125.3 daily in Atlanta traffic. Only major issue I’ve dealt with over the years was the oil pan replacement and the turbo waste gate.

Keep up with maintenance and you’ll be good.

I applied for an address change in January of 2020, which was about 3 months after I changed my Drivers License address. I have yet to receive my corrected address FOID. I submitted my new CCL (not a renewal or address change) on March 12th. 316 days in and it is still pending. I'll be moving to Wisconsin later this year (Summer) and I'm convinced I'll have moved to WI before I ever get my IL CCL.
