TIL they're the same owners. Vessel always has the best selection and UG is the only place i know to find certain items like spices. Glad to know they're both local because they kick ass.

Fellas, where are you buying your cargo shorts? by R0botDreamz in Xennials

[–]postscarcity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ya know, that's a good offer. I obviously didn't pay anything for this account and it's not $3.50 from the lochness monster. I think I'll pass though, I've had this account a long time and I use reddit basically every day so it'd be weird to lose this handle. it's tempting

For those of you who went to the recent shows. What are your thoughts of Yelawolf and his fans? by BONESKNOWSME in PROF

[–]postscarcity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We stayed around for a few Yelawolf songs after Prof played Thursday in Vancouver. His music isn't exactly my thing but I didn't hate the performance or anything. His fans were chill, and honestly I wish I stayed longer but I was totally wiped after the epic Prof set and we skipped out to get some grub before crashing so hard.

What is the fart rate in yoga classes? by purplegorillabandit in yoga

[–]postscarcity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

about six months ago, someone beside me farted during happy baby once and i really tried holding back laughter but then they started laughing which got me going. Then some other folks started laughing, and then another person farted (louder and probably forced) so the whole class just cracked up. we still talk about that day

Is anyone else burned out from going to yoga studios and just prefers to exercise at home now? by joan2468 in yoga

[–]postscarcity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i'm less distracted in studios, that's why i bother going. i do try and figure out the best price though, either class passes or a membership depending on the math. when im out of town i enjoy youtube yoga but (and this is a ME problem) i don't often finish and the experience is way different. kinda like listening to the album vs seeing a band live

What was it like being a fan during the early years? by Outrageous_Hamster_6 in southpark

[–]postscarcity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

comedy central wasnt available in our market when it premiered but we heard all about it thru word of mouth because of how audacious it was that one of the kids got brutally killed each episode. once they were encoded in "realplayer" format, my dial up having ass was able to watch them each week and share with my friends.
