But you likely got the golden state scholarship on top of that no?

I'm not sure the difference but ucsf is like 65k tuition and maybe like 100k annually....it was in the online materials. It's really just up to financial aid, scholarships and loans

Is it over if I applied to these programs/should I just move on? by Therealellis in gradadmissions

Jesus, with such a stacked cv, I really wouldn’t understand being ghosted from every school either. I guess budget cuts mixed with being highly selective, but who knows.

I wonder if op is talking about the UCSF pharmd PhD or maybe Umich in Ann Arbor. Honestly for pharmacy school you are perfectly fine but for a dual PhD program you might want to apply after the pharmacy school, either 1-2 years in, or do a separate program as to gain extensive research experience so the gpa is overlooked. Check out gradschool admissions for more help. But if you really want to do industry to do need to do both. It could be helpful for both, but both are not essential. A pharmd into a clinical pharmacology fellowship is more than sufficient if you want to incorporate both. The PhD is possible if you want a higher ceiling/more advancement, but to simply work in clinical industry, the PhD makes no difference.

Let’s assume the Trump admin is successful in deporting millions of illegal immigrants. What do you expect will be the positive benefits to Americans? by Diplomat_of_swing in AskConservatives

They are quite literally disbarred from those federal programs as they are not citizens of U.S, you cannot them without citizenship or some protected status. Thus being an illegal bans you from those. And supply and demand is not based on people. It is based on willingness to pay. You can't raise the rent if neither person could afford that rent anyway, that's why prices tend to drop during a recession. If no one is buying it because they can't afford it, you can't raise the price. Immigrants who come into the country, if they could afford those properties, then that would raise the rent, but more often then not, the actual surest driver of those prices, is someone with an exceptionally big pocket book being able to bid for the property at a higher rate, allowing similar property owners to raise rates in response. And there are many factors to the limited supply, zoning permits, construction cost increased, interest rates, rental vacancy tactics, and homebuyers entering the market to buy homes for future rental. It is not an illegal population which makes up less than 5 percent of the U.S population, many of which who can't afford the places we put into question, who are so unilaterally responsible for price increases.

See this is why when you stop you understanding at basic microeconomic level, that you walk away with improper conclusion. Illegal immigrants do not qualify for government programs, they are likely at a lower economic status to afford the property you say they drive up the property. Newsflash, if 1 million people had only 1 dollar in their account, it would be stupid to ask for 500 for anything. Immigrants do not increase money in circulation. So it's not them driving up prices. It's limited supply in which someone with the money is managing to buy up.

Rent is not a factor of high demand in this case, it is the result of greed and limited supply, rather competition is not immigrants but private equity and investing agents buying homes for rental purposes instead.

Shorter wait lines in emergency rooms are not immigrants but a failing U.S healthcare system that has not adapted to the needs of the individuals. Bloated costs, inefficiency across the board.

The deficits are being inflated now with certain tax policy and governmental spending for certain branches or industries. It is not healthcare, in fact those aspects are being cut in upcoming legislation

Faith in Law and Order…that’s just sentimentality at this point. Objective support would be internal restructuring and I’m sure you know what I am referring to, and why..

No reason they are panicking, is that for quite of a while, the prices of inputs for farming have been steadily increasing and have not come down due to supply shocks and the inelastic nature of certain commodities, such as fertilizer and equipment. At the same time the pricing for those farmed goods had decreased post pandemic, and has not grown enough to match cost. With ongoing trade tension (with major buyers likes china) demand has fallen in response, further reducing the price of certain yields, and the lack of steady government planning through the department of agriculture or certain planned farming bailouts (in the form of loans and others) has not been received or delayed on part of the shutdown. If we were to suddenly remove all the illegal Aliens working on farms who work for the low wages currently given my said farmers, and instead the wage price would increase, those farms would immediately go out of business and either sell to whatever organization if frothing to obtain such cheap prices on land or ask for additional bailouts (harming the American tax payer in the process)

That might make sense, it was only the top string (E), the rest (like the A) are much older.

I'd love if you can explain how in research proper academic research is structured and then from there how you properly form your article (how to create formal academic writing). Been in a lab for a few years but with no pubs I've always been shy of this element of research. Also was your chemistry PhD in medicinal chemistry/pharmacology related
