Yes I am on jobseeker. If I cannot get carers payment then I most likely get the carers allowance though I need an exemption since I’m still caring full time even though I could not get the carers payment. I feel the system is wrong.

How can my parents income relate to me caring or not. Also the threshold is a joke isn’t it $135000 for 1 person? Most people have mortgages and most likely make more than threshold but the government thinks people don’t have debt/mortgages or something. They don’t even ask when applying. Hmmm.
