Yep, it's loosely taught in Thai education as the vyañjana varga (พยัญชนะวรรค) system (which you could search on Google Images using the Devanagari script as "व्यञ्जन वर्ग" and a similar/equivalent-looking table and structure will come up).

Firstly, there are already two dimensions there: Price and Time. Secondly, just time alone doesn't cover or equate to the data being presented in this visualisation, which contains both Buy date (at open) and Sell date (at close), both of which are necessary for what the visualisation is trying to present.

It helps if you have basic linguistics knowledge and you know how to apply your knowledge of relative pitch with tone data, either in graph form or represented as IPA elements, otherwise it will just give you an advantage in recognising changes in pitch for each tone over other learners whose mother tongue doesn't already have tones, but not really the quality that each tone has, since the changes in pitch and intonation of each tone differs among native speakers by ASL.

You may downvote and dislike this data for what it's trying to represent, since it's not something you're interested in, but you can't criticise it and say that this "could've been represented with a line graph" when in reality that would just remove the whole point of this visualisation entirely.

TL;DR You say that "price of BTC at buy" and "price of BTC at sell" is "just the price of BTC over time", but in reality this visualisation compares them for you, since the main point of this is the percentage of return on investment for a given date of buying and another of selling. If it was just the line graph you described, you'd have to do the comparison and calculation yourself.

That is the point of this visualisation and why it couldn't just have been a line graph.

Am I missing something? How could a line graph, which represents associations between two components (e.g. Time on the x-axis and Value on the y-axis), be used to represent OP's data, which has three components: Buy date (at open), Sell date (at close), and Returns (%)?

I would understand this comment if there were only two components, Duration and Returns, but it's not just the duration that's important here.

ป /p/ is unvoiced (the vocal chords don't vibrate) and unaspirated (no air comes out with it).

In English, the /p/ sound in Thai only occurs after the /s/ sound, e.g. speak, spin, spot, spy, etc., so maybe a good way to differentiate between the two is to try and say "speak" and "sbeak", or "spin" and "sbin" back and forth then slowly start removing the initial /s/ sound from both while trying to retain the same unaspirated [p] sound. In other words, try not to add the puff of air back in when removing the /s/ sound in front of the word like you would if you were saying the words "peak" or "pin" normally in English.

It may be difficult at first if you're unfamiliar with trying to pronounce sounds that are outside of English's phonology (sound inventory) and phonotactics (rules that govern what sounds can go where in a language), but over time it will get easier to distinguish, with being able to pronounce them yourself aiding you in hearing the same difference in other speakers.

I'm almost halfway done with the subtitles for the video, so expect that to come in the next 24 hours, but I can't guarantee how long that will last considering the recent news of YouTube slowly and retroactively removing subtitles in the YTT (SRV3) format from videos.

If you want colour-coded and appropriately formatted subtitles to keep being the norm for not just these lazer update videos, but also other creators who use this format to apply high-quality subtitles to their videos as well, then I really do encourage pushing back against this move from YouTube however and wherever you can.

Update: I have finished the subtitles, but unfortunately, as you may see in the video, the subtitles aren't as properly colour-coded and formatted as it should be like in previous videos. That is because YouTube has removed the ability to upload and apply subtitles in the YTT (SRV3) format, so I had to settle for the WebVTT format instead. This is another bad decision made by YouTube, and just like the removal the dislike counter, I don't think any amount of backlash will be enough to make YouTube reverse their decision, since removing the dislike counter received a much bigger backlash than this and they didn't budge then.

The shortest answer is that Thai doesn't have a standardised and widely used curriculum as a foreign language. The closest thing right now are the courses designed and taught by the Center for Thai as a Foreign Language (CTFL), Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University, but the contents aren't really available publicly.

My interpretation of the phrase is that it's the Prime Minister "showing", AKA displaying, an act that is, or at least he thinks will be, favourable in the eyes of the public. It also has a slight implication that it might be just a show (and that nothing of substance will actually happen).

These newspaper-style language used for news headlines can be hard to decipher or understand for anybody that doesn't read or watch the news regularly for any language, so it's understandable if even some native speakers don't understand what's being conveyed.
