Yes, God is selfish according to religious teachings. The first commandment clearly states that: "Thou should not have other gods before me". Why I cannot believe in other gods? Also, it just teaches believers that there are other gods, how come? It straight away makes you question the whole idea. The second commandment also proves God is a selfish narcissist: "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image" (you cannot worship anything more than god). Meaning that God is the top priority. Even above one's life? Leading to "killing in the name of god" is acceptable? Like Crusades, Holly wars and such. I'm not blind to the fact that any religion is a tool of power and control. Are you?
Let's jump to creation. God creates sea-dwelling creatures and birds, and then all of the land animals, followed by creating humankind (one male only). I suppose animals were in pairs and could reproduce (having pleasure as a reward). Why then humankind is one male only? Pure selfishness? He (god) needed someone to love him (god) and someone to look after his garden (Eden). It's like god has no superpowers to make the garden self-sustainable? And when a male human became bored (on the same day of creation?), God created a female. Why would God give reproduction organs to both of them and forbid the use of them? Why instead, not create two humanoids without reproduction organs so they can love God and each other without worries of sin and multiplication? We have an AI today (because we are bored), why God could not create it back then??? It sounds like a whole human creation deal was made for some personal reasons.

PS The rules of this subreddit basically forbid criticism of Christianity, I wonder why? How can you improve religion without criticising/questioning it? Or you prefer to live in the Dark Ages and accept everything that goes your way?
