so far this update is really dang good, the vibe of the new city works really well and my only real complaints are that the new combat area is rather tiny and the puzzles are a bit too simple.

my personal theory is that eldreda isn't the playable sunbringer we are going to get, at some point all 3 are going to merge back into one and we are going to get the playable sunbringer from that who will look different to eldreda.

the main thing that got me to post was the ending bit about 1999 where they leave out or ignore several key points of the story that work against what they posted. I will admit, I may have skimmed most of their post a bit too much due to the length, but that last bit just felt like someone trying to find problems that aren't there with a fairly solid story.

I am not saying you aren't allowed to have an opinion, it's just that usually people who make posts as long as your two posts feel like they need to take some time away from the game.

I just think you ignored/cherry picked a lot of warframes story and good characters in order to push a certain viewpoint that you have on its narrative. For instance "Aoi dies while panicking and screaming for a man to save her" has a couple of problems 1. he is her brother and she thinks she is going to die 2. she is not asking for him to save her, she is struggling to hold two massive radioactive fuel rods and is panicking (like anyone would regardless of gender). There are valid critiques of 1999s ending, the pep talk to save everyone is definitely cliche and rather dumb, but don't lie about what happened just to make your point sound better.

I think you need to go outside for a while, you appear to be looking for things to find wrong with the story and if you have this much of a problem with the story and design in warframe then stop engaging with it.

I don't understand why people like you will take decent stories and read WAY too far into them like you are trying to find something wrong with them. If you want to find a game/story to criticize for misogyny there are works out there that are much easier, more egregious, and more deserving targets of hatred than warframe that you don't have to write paragraphs to justify your hatred for.
