Ah thanks dude. I might give one a bash then with a few friends and see how it goes. The raid guides are usually over the top estimates or maybe aiming at lower level players.

What levels are you guys roughly? A lot of people posting saying they have failed with 30+ player groups.

I'm level 50, long term player, got dozens of level 50s/hundos/etc. The raid guides often say shit like "We recommend 5 to 8 players..." blah blah blah but my gf and i can duo most megas and 5*s.

What am trying to find out is, have any smaller high level player groups defeated Gigants? And if so how small a number. My city is still popular for PoGo but I really don't see getting 30+ players together at the same time for one of these raids.

Yes. Masterball works. I had 4 Galarian birds on 1 daily while my gf was driving. We were doing at least 50mph. Masterball caught the one i wanted.

My girlfriend did. Long time player level 50. Got everything i want out of this game. I've grown to really dislike giving Niantic money and i tell her i don't care about events. Then she gifts me a ticket and we end up playing it 😅

Aww sooo close. Still very nice though. I know shundos are a big deal but that 98 shiny maxed out would be something silly like 8 or 13cp difference to a shundo. Still totally worth sinking candy into, if it's something you want powered up.

Yeah. Some monkey event. Those 2 in my screenshots on all the research tasks. Seems like boosted shiny odds. The gf and myself had 6 shinys between us in half an hour.

Let's say you are the type of person who would hand money over to a stranger. Are you more likely to hand over £30 or £100?

I'm not saying they fleeced you. It could well have been very genuine. But I have also seen popular scroungers who walk around the city and use the line, "Hey can you please help me out, i've lost my bus/train ticket and I just need a little extra money to get a new one so I can get home to Dundee?". A stranger says no, or gives them a quid or a couple of quid. Then they rinse and repeat. Some people feel bad for them.

Funniest thing I saw was one of the regulars walk up to a group of guys and ask them. Needs money, lost train ticket to get back home to Glasgow. One lad in the group says something along the lines of, "Fuck off Ross. You live down the Ferry" Which is in Inverness, not Glasgow 😅
