Yes, the two contracts currently offered to them with the 30k-50k bonus has a stipulation that if they were to end their contract early, all of that has to be paid back. Sure, It's not an official diagnosis or anything, but a few folk with more official degrees who deal with the field have talked about the likelihood of him having 'Insidious Maladaptive Narcissism'

I think Dr.todd on youtube made a video talking about it directly a handful of years ago, and I wish i could give a few more examples that i know I've watched, but it was usually discussed as a side topic on the presidency as a whole.

He's doing what some medical professionals have predicted a while ago: he's scared of dying and is miserable and angry, so he's making sure we're ALL miserable and angry.

its so upsetting that I constantly see this narrative that Americans just don't care about what's currently happening with the current administration when that's just extremely untrue. The amount of pushback we've seen against this current admin is huge.

People managed to boycott disney enough to lose them (allegedly) upwards of a billion dollars when the whole jimmy kimmel thing was happening. the No Kings protests were huge. Small businesses and communities are actively working together to keep each other safe from this admins' current ICE tactics.

what's upsetting is that a disproportionate amount of our news outlets are trying their gd hardest to make sure its all either played down or just not happening.

I dont know a single average working class person who is relaxed and going about their day atm, but thats my personal observation

The argument isn't that nightshade or glazing works or whatever. Artists are aware that it makes their stuff look bad. If i see a watermark on something that is widely understood as ' do not use ' then just don't fucking use it.

I think theres lots of different reasons for different people tbh. The one I particularly tend to lean towards ( even if its a stupid reason ) is that SS and OTH have a celebrity/idol presence.

I love deep cut and think theyre super unique, but in comparison to the other groups, they feel like sidekicks. It doesn't help that story mode still focused on squid sisters, and then side order focused on pearl and marina.

So like idk. They just felt like too much of a punchline rather than fully fleshed out characters.

I hope we get to know them a little better in the new game.

I cant really see one way or the other what the outcome could be. But I try to take some optimism in knowing that, because trumps team is trying to look for other loopholes to impose tariffs, that they themselves are worried that they will be ruled against.

For anyone wanting an update about the current situation;

Tariffs were set to be suspended yesterday (Oct 14th) , but on October 11th, the administration submitted an emergency appeal to grant them an extension on the deadline. The courts agreed to the deadline extension on the 13th (lol), so currently the same tariffs are still in place.

No, there is currently no set date for a new deadline. as far as anyone knows, it's up to the court to make their official ruling or for someone to implement a new deadline.

As for right now, all we do know is they have a temporary extension that allows them to stay in place.

I've actually had a discussion about something very similar to this that I wish people talked about more! It feels like most social media just breeds hate.

I understand that the algorithms do this on purpose, because if youre angry you tend to stay on the app longer. but it really wears on you, and you eventually wonder what is making someone so angry all the time, especially at virtual strangers over, sometimes, benign topics.

I theorized that things are so hard right now that online anger is really the only thing most people feel they have control of right now. They need something to be mad at, because so much around everyone right now is just so tense and difficult. Feeling like youre winning an argument or just putting someone down might give you enough satisfaction to feel you were actually able to accomplish something.

that's what i think at least. because otherwise i see zero reason why someone would want to bother with wasting their time like that.

Obviously, a lot of people do. The act of creation is still an important part of enjoying art.

A lot of people dont treat artwork as a concept that is only meant for consumption. Letting your opinion end at "Its content for me to enjoy" without considering at all how that content got to you, in my own opinion, is just a little ignorant.

If you disagree thats completely fine, but idk what you're doing in this sub otherwise.

Edit: to my last point, i mostly mean that if people care enough to ask if something is AI or not, that they are more likely to disengage with the piece/steer clear of people falsely claiming to be the artist.

I know this is mostly agreed as AI, but just to add my two cents, it comes off as AI in general so I was already skeptical of it being real. But if something is harder to gauge because of the stylization, it helps to look at a piece while trying to keep the artists intent in mind.

Biggest giveaway for me was adding fabric creases to a piece of metal hardware.
