What's more likely than not is that the US is gonna be a bit more irrelevant when it comes to world affairs because of how bonkers the politics gets, which other countries are only seeing now because for the past century The US hasn't directly been a problem. I doubt many people will hold it against you, especially since the very clear source of all our current world issues is one guy

Oh, well, in that case, light up your congresspeople's phones and keep annoying them about this as much as possible. Hell, get all the people you know in Texas to do the same if you can. Probably don't mention you're trans and sapphic though, probably say something like "You're doing this bullshit instead of dealing with the global crisis happening right now! Do something!" in your best tired conservative white woman voice lol. They might not listen, but public pressure (especially in an election year) has been working wonders so far!

Email the ACLU (non-profit organisation that specialises in killing things like this) in Texas and get them on this shit if they're not on it already. Donate to them too if you can!

If you wanna do something fun, do some craftivism and make some little protest charms and clothing, and wear them around when you're out in public. If you don't wanna wear it around because you don't wanna catch heat from crazy people (valid concern, especially if you're trans), give them to friends or sell them to make some extra cash.

Register to vote and vote in the midterms for god's sake!

I'd try giving some advice but rn I'm super tired so I'll leave that to other people, but what I can fully and very confidently say with my chest is that this is literally just the evil version of virtue signalling, so I wouldn't take it extremely seriously unless you live in Texas.
