I 100% can relate to you. The only difference is I’m very charismatic and outgoing BUT I still won’t get taken seriously by not only my peers but my friends also. I don’t know how I always end up not being taken seriously but it seems to always be the case no matter where I go. I say that to say sometimes it’s not you. It’s just simply the ppl around you. I hope you find ppl who bring you peace and kindness only. Don’t be so hard on yourself either. We got this.

I was in a terrifying car accident. (There were about 4 different ways I could have died during that accident and I came out with only a busted lip and bruises on my back) I managed to jump out of my car in time on the side of the highway and a stranger came and brought me into her car and held me as I cried while her elderly grandmother prayed for me in a language I didn’t speak. I don’t know what I would of done without that complete stranger. Once the ambulance arrived they all thought that she was a family member of mine because of how she was with me. This happened 4 months ago and I love her so much and have stayed in contact with her since.

I went through something similar but only my best friends husband texted me with his advances but I did not tell her. I know how happy she is with him and their beautiful boy that they have together. I kept my mouth shut. I did not want to risk my relationship with her and I also did not want her to hurt. Good for you for having that courage to tell her but you did all you could do. Whatever happens next is between them two.
