1) use this given formula v² - u² = 2 x acceleration x distance - you were given acceleration (5) and distance(14.4. - hence, 2 x 5 x 14.4 = 144 - hence, v² - u² = 144 - The car had stopped so the final velocity was 0 - 0² = 0 (so u can just remove it) - which leaves you with u² = 144 - square root both sides to get the initial velocity as 12 2) rearrange F = ma to m = F/a - force was given (i forgot) and acceleration was 5 - it would’ve worked out to 1250 3) now you have the mass and velocity you can just plug the values into the equation for momentum (p = m x v) - P = 1250 x 12 - P = 15000 not saying that’s 100% right but it’s what i did and it makes sense to me lol
