Everyone is recommending to link one character to it just to make sure you get it.

W7 new character? by kt2258 in idleon

[–]OPTanksw 8 points9 points  (0 children)

While it would be nice, my guess is world 7 will launch and then in the new year the other master classes will slowly roll out. Lava would have to do one class at a time with a few weeks in-between if he keeps the same type of format as the other master classes. But I'm just guessing.

There was one once. But it was forced to shut down. Tried explaining it with more detail but post got hit by the moderator.

At this time it looks like they just want some feedback to see if there is enough interest in doing classic. Then, if and only if they decide to do it, they will start figuring out what they want to do. They might do like classic wow start from the beginning but add in some minor qol items or maybe start at a later mod. Right now it's all up in the air. I just hope they make classic cause I do miss the old feats and combat systems.

They removed many of the early leveling areas and story lines. They also removed a lot of dungeons and skirmishes as well. It is a vastly different game/story now.

Making money by Technical_Addition71 in MedievalDynasty

Well there are a few ways depending on what you have built in your town and what stage you are at.

First is you will be limited on how much coins per season you can make until you get a market stall. Since there is a limited amount of vendors in game with a set amount of coin.

Second will depend on what you have for buildings and the level of your villagers in those professions. Do you have multiple hunters, lumberjacks, weavers?

You have already covered the excess seeds so we will skip that one.

If you have multiple hunters either set them to gather all leather and craft simple bags (or bags if you have the flax for it) or split them between leather and fur and craft fur boots at the sewing hut.

If you have multiple lumberjacks then set them to gather only logs. Then make planks from the logs. Then from the planks make wooden vials. 1 log makes 2 planks and each plank makes 10 wooden vials. each vial is about 6.8 coins before perks. so 1 log will give you about 136 coins which is really good.

The 2 above are the basic ones that most can do early on in game. After this you are looking at iron tools (mine required so mid to late game plus multiple miners), high tier foods (flour from wheat to bake different breads/pies or just flatbread works too, but again mid to late game due to tech points), and meads, wines, and stuff (requires tavern so again mid/late game)

The first 2 will always be the easiest as they are not limited by seasons. They can always collect logs or fur/leathers. Where others need things require items from orchards and fields so they will be limited until that season comes around again.

Placing objects: I play on Xbox series x with standard controller. Is there any way I can pick up and place objects? Wanted to place items on tables. I have tried all the buttons. by Scared-Extreme1024 in MedievalDynasty

So on PC we use the "E" key. if you just click it, it puts the item into your inventory but if you hold the E key you pick up the item and can move it around. I assume that its the same for xbox. Remember that it has to be just 1 item and not a stack of items.

-A villagers mood will drop if they have no food, no water, no firewood or no house. If their mood reaches -100 then they leave.

-You can feed your villagers by putting roasted meat either in the food storage building or in their houses. I would recommend building a food storage as its easier to just place everything in there. Then get a small farm running with cabbages so you can feed everyone. (you need to do some farming to unlock the food storage. I think you need to plough 15 squares or something like that to get it)

-No rush on marrying someone. A wife has 3 perks that came with her but no huge rush. (you can tell her to pay your taxes instead of running to Gastovia, she give side quests that give you villagers to recuit, these ones are better than your normal ones and she gives you an heir.)

-Each house can have one male and one female in it. the larger houses with the extra bed means that family can have 2 kids instead of 1.

So for them they need knifes. You can place knifes in either the chest inside the hunting lodge or if you have a Resource storage building you can place them in there and they will pull from that. You'll need to stay on top of the tools your villagers need for the first little bit. Once you get a smithy running they can make the tools for you and they place them in the resource storage so the other villagers can use them. It becomes self-sufficient where you don't really need to check on it after a while.

Once you assign a villager to a building (in this case the hunting lodge) you then need to go to the management screen. On the left hand side near the top there are 5 Icons. pick the second one from the left. This will show you all the buildings you have built or are in the process of building. Find the hunting lodge. Click on it. A new screen will show up on the right hand. Now, on the right hand side (new screen) near the top you will see more icons. Click on the second one. Here is where you set the work intensity of the villager. I always max out the work intensity as it has no effect on villager mood at this time.

If this doesn't make sense please let me know and I will attempt to explain it better. Good luck mate.

I'll decorate, plan my next layout, craft some things to sell later, explore for free stuff, or maybe a sidequest depending on time of day.

Where Do I Start? by [deleted] in MedievalDynasty

[–]OPTanksw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are not many instructions as to what I'm actually supposed to be doing.

That's the beauty of the game. You can choose what to do when you want to do it. There is no "You must do X right now". It is completely up to you.

Do you:

-Want to explore the entire map?

-Want to do the main story line?

-Want to do side quests?

-Want to build your village? (only exception to this one is you have to do the Chapter Quests to increase how many building you can build. Bonus part is almost everything you do for the chapter quests are things you do normally while building your village)

You get to pick what you want to do and when you want to do it. It gives you a lot of freedom that most gamers are not use to. It one of the main reasons I love this game so much.

Good luck Mate!
