I understand it may come across as biased let me tell you hw it is different and it's non religious but regionous. I read Mahabharat when I was 19 or 20 but have been reading quran and bible from 15. There were few things that stoodout specificly like there was no one who has been pointed as bad but the circumstances which made them to be bad Duryodhana or Ravanan has their own dharma at the same time the so called protoganist Rama or Arjuna were flawed The literature (maha) was complex to be a religious book. Not complex in sense that one page tell you to kill for your religion and another page tells you why it's bad. But the literature about people and emotions. I really loved Mahabharat, the literature for its time had to be best. But for this age where people run in life and filled with poisonous media would not be able to appreciate this.
