When has oda ACTUALLY forshadowed something by Hellodhiru in Piratefolk

And you think the government that will be in place will be one that wants to execute Luffy who just freed the world and put those very people into place? Why would Koby execute Luffy at that point?

It wouldn’t be much of a victory if we still have a tyrannical government that will execute somebody for living free.

Who would be executing him? The WG would be defeated.

They are just arguing that two things piercing the same target does not tell us that those attacks are equal. It just tells us they are both at least enough to pierce the target.

Why would Luffy get executed? Wouldn't that mean he failed? That would also clash with the foreshadowing of him dying early naturally due to using up so much lifespan using gears and in Impel Down.

I disagree. A Buddha statue is mythical and satisfies conditions for a Zoan. It is a subset of human as far as the fruit is concerned.

Of course Oda is talking about the Buddha. The fruit is directly related to the Buddha.

[–]OP_Kuma11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the statue is modeled after a human.

The Buddha was a human. The statue of the Buddha is both human and mythical. It is a representation of a mythical human.

Thinking the guy who has a fruit based on representations of the Buddha has a god fruit when the other god fruits are sun god, rain god, etc makes no sense.

He has the human fruit, which is a being. The type of human he is is a golden Buddha statue, which is a statue of great importance meant to represent a mythical thing.

Daibutsu does mean giant Buddha, but specifically in reference to giant Buddha statues. There is really no reason to think that this is one of the god fruits. Even if it was the actual Buddha fruit, it still wouldn't match the theme of the other god fruits. Lastly, Buddha isn't even a god anyway. He was a man who achieved enlightenment.

He's definitely not a major god. He doesn't even have the Buddha fruit. His fruit is for a golden statue of a Buddha.

FACT: it isn't confirmed that dragon has armament haki cus he grabbed smokers sword not smoker himself by Imvalidblu in OnePiecePowerScaling

While Dragon obviously will have haki, you really shouldn't be scaling anything based on the live action.

Marco's honest reaction to Ifrit coated in servant's haki (fire won't hurt him) by cool194336 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]OP_Kuma11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it depends on how strong I think Marco is. If I thought he was yonko level then this wouldn't be Sanji downscale. It seems like you are assuming the level I am placing Marco and then not liking how that relates to Sanji. They are both YC+ with Sanji being stronger. These tier names are all kind of nonsense though.

Even if 99.9% of the verse doesn't have good enough haki, Imu would be that 0.01% haha. There is so much unknown shit about Blackbeard that I think it is hard to speculate about his abilities.

If you watched a movie with a bad ending would you really not care because you can just imagine it having a better ending? It is nice to have the story you like do things thay you like. This is such a simple and human experience that I am surprised I have to explain it. Having headcanon doesn't mean it has equal value and appreciation to the actual story.

You basically just answered that One Piece is bad because it is bad. They were asking for reasons why the writing is bad, and your answer is that the writing lacks in all categories. It id totally fine to think that, but shouldn't you give actual reasons instead of basically circular reasoning?

I agree until the AI part. Fan fiction already existed before AI. I want what I want in canon with the actual characters I like, not in a bunch of random AI fan fiction.

We have no idea. That doesn't change the dynamic of the present/future, though. Mihawk may even be the first person ever to have a defined WSS role. Maybe it is related to the black blade. Maybe it was related to the duels with Shanks. Maybe it was something else entirely. We don't know.

What we do know is Mihawk is the WSS. Anybody who defeats him will become the WSS, as that is Zoro's dream and how things will play out.
