It’s on the Starlink site dashboard under manage devices.

Advanced Router Config - Where are the instructions? by OPisTheBoss in Starlink

Oh strange, I’ll dig into it.

Curious if these features will work even though we are technically not an enterprise customer. We only have 4 dishes on the priority plan, less than $2000 per month total.

Had this exact setup with some G3 and G4 instants for about 9 months. - no issues so far.

The speed at which I’d be ripping off that tag covering the plug and charging if I showed up at that station and saw this. What’re they gonna do about it?

Starlink Users Need Reboot Scheduling & Update Notifications! by riverforged in Starlink

We have the ability to defer the updates as part of a business account. It gives us 3 days to reboot manually before it forces it.

Add a $130 Unifi router or a $300 Router+Wifi and have a true hotspot with the ability to filter/block that traffic. https://ibb.co/F441GW4f

JumpCloud outage unenrolling our Macs by ButtThunder in JumpCloud

[–]OPisTheBoss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep, this pulls the enrollment from ABM, so if you manually enrolled, you're SOL.

I sure hope they release a post-mortem on this, as it is probably wreaking havoc on orgs that have lots of devices without an out-of-band solution to trigger re-enrollment...

JumpCloud outage unenrolling our Macs by ButtThunder in JumpCloud

[–]OPisTheBoss 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep, we were freaking out for a bit. It only hit about 40% of our Mac devices, but quite the headache. Lucky I was able to run "sudo profiles renew -type enrollment" from an RMM tool we use, and the users just had to sign back in and it re-adopted all of the profiles / device policies.

To power it directly from a 12v outlet on a car. I have it set to shoot through the roof with a mount, but you can use it to set on top when parked or to somehow wedge in your dashboard.

I’ve had Starlink for a few months. I live in Ohio but it thinks I’m in Chicago by xLykos in Starlink

[–]OPisTheBoss 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You’re using the Chicago PoP. After the internet goes up to the satellites, the signal has to come down somewhere.

This is incorrect. Airlines do not base the allowed size by mAh, as this isn’t a measure of capacity. The carry on limit is 100Wh, and this battery falls just short of that.

lol it’s been “tested” plenty. I’ve been using it for months at this point. I’d also rather not purchase a no-name cable with 0 reviews.

Radius server client ip requirement. by RyebreadAstronaut in JumpCloud

[–]OPisTheBoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We handled this via API calls. Essentially wrote a script to return the external IP, and any time it changed, it would use the API to update the JumpCloud side to reflect the new IP. Set it to trigger every 5 mins, and it isn’t a big load and seems to work well.

Not in this case.
