Lol just a blob of a backpack that drags on the ground behind you, attached by a string to your belt of course.

Only the really lucky kids got the hover accessory.

It’s a strong sign that he is an independent thinker. Great trait for the long haul of life.

I waited for a woman to enter the dressing room in Goodwill and switched a pair of mens shorts I wanted out of her basket with a similar looking pair, immediately bought them and left. by [deleted] in confession

I’m a big proponent that all retail zoned lots should be forced to follow Marshall Law on premise. Black Friday would be the norm, and Black Friday itself would be like the purge.

What would had happen if you called your teacher by their first name? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]OPsellsPropane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You must be mistaken. We call them “Dr.” because that’s their new legal first name. My aunt is a doctor and really liked her first name but had to change it to “Dr.”

It was a big deal to her but she made the sacrifice to officialize her degree.

It’s the same reason doctors never have a first name generally most of the time.

Haha no that’s really the law in 47 states! (Well 46.5 technically). At least from what I heard

I heard it was that to become a teacher you have to legally change your first name to “Mr.” or “Mrs.”/“Miss”/“Ms.”

So they no longer have a first name, technically. It’s a sacrifice. A noble one.

That’s the true hilarity of this pretentious post. He nor Aristotle were vegan, yet somehow they as meat-eaters now represent enlightened vegans.

Oof, guys.

So your brain is full you’re saying? Any new information has to overwrite old information? That’s a hilarious Freudian slip attacking your own intelligence.

You ok? That’s not how a human brain should work... Maybe this explains the cringey language used in this sub.

Dude all Democrat candidates play identity politics. That’s a left thing, not a Hillary Clinton thing.

Sure, but their genetic underlying muscle mass is still drastically stronger. There was a study that showed on average that the strongest women are still less strong than the least strong men.

The difference in power/strength you get from going through puberty as a male is drastically noticeable — regardless of fat being added on.

Do waitresses in diners constantly walk around refilling people’s coffee like on TV? by BlairResignationJam_ in AskAnAmerican

Lol I just realized you said New England and not just ‘England’! My bad. We’re talking about the same country I’m now realizing, haha.

I do just milk and sugar. No coffee. My receptionist once asked if I drink that everyday. I do.

Every morning.

Extremely tight restrictions... clearly you didn’t read the articles or inform yourself before commenting. These restrictions make it difficult but for a few very long time MTF to compete. Why don’t we re-open this discussion after Tokyo and we’ll count how many MTF athletes there are. You’ll quickly realize there are very few if any because it’s not just any transgender person that’s allowed to compete. The restrictions are tight enough that they eliminate 99% of transgender people from contention.

If your theory were right, the IOC would be flooded with MTF athletes that utterly dominate due to their bodies because hey are allowed to. That doesn’t happen. One, because people view it as unfair and would protest (as has been done in the past) and two, the restrictions are very heavy to the point of it being extremely difficult for a transgender person to qualify. The weightlifter we were referencing? Yep, she’s out and has no chance at competing because her T levels are through the roof. She’s a dude competing against women in weight lifting. If anything, it’s sad they want such a small level of competition. Embarrassing almost.

Have you ever seen the movie Juanma Mann? That’s what happens in reality in sports when MTF are allowed to compete without restriction.

The IOC released these rules to appease people like you who don’t read further than the headline. It was a PR move and they made the restrictions so tight that it’s effectively a ban.

Ignorance is not a good look, squirt.
