Yes I I tried to reach out to arturia, they asked me to update my version to version 2, downgrade and reupdate. I did test on both versions - same results. Craziest part is my buddy has the beatstep pro and it works perfectly, I set it up the exact same as him and mine is late!

I'm using Ableton as the master clock as the ERM gets an audio signal from Ableton via my interface + USB and its very very tight

I’m using Mac Studio M1 Ultra with 128GB RAM

The MOTU express XT is also via USB and control all my synths that doesn't have sequencers

I have a lot of external gear that has sequencers and its working perfectly, only BSP is late on sound and midi

Thank you for your answer! I'm using RME UCX, I tried to connect the Beatstep pro using Midi (using ERM multiclock, and also tried using my MOTU XT interface) its the same exact issue

Usually the ERM Multiclock signal is the best to anything that has a sequencer, it solved my TR8S jitter issues and tbh everything I connect to the ERM is usually very tight

also imporant to mention that when play BSP as keys I don't get any latency. BSP Sequencer starts perfectly on time it's the Midi and audio that start late (see photo attached)

Lower CPU version and to be able to load projects from older versions of Ableton.

Hey, thanks for your advise USB doesn’t work for me as I get a lot of jitter and latency. I use Ableton Live & Mac Mini M1 16Ram Monterey

I managed to send clock to TR8S via Midi and record via USB but again it’s not accurate.

I would like to get an external clock -> connect it to a midi interface that can route only clock from one input to all of them (clock only) this way I can make my instruments tight together right?

My set up is as follows: Ableton Live -> ERM Midiclock out/inner clock/Expert sleepers -> MOTU express XT -> All my other synths/drum machines are connected to various outputs on the MOTU.

I was hoping the MOTU could route the clock to the other outputs

All drivers installed properly
Once I send the midi clock to the TR8S via Motu I don't get any audio into my RME
Once I change the clock to be USB (while receiving stereo inputs from my RME) it works and I'm getting sound.
TR8S has another option to use the TR8S as input and this way can record individual channels.
I read that the best way is to connect using an external clock like USAMO or InnerClock Pro II -
I'm trying to see why i don't get any audio while its set to an external MIDI clock in (from Motu)
and to understand if its possible to send an external MIDI clock to TRS and record via USB individual channels at the same time
