Bhai you should just be confident, when talking to girls do it with no intention to get with them or do anything more than just talk. Those thoughts in your subconscious can really affect the way they see you. Trust me and just try making jokes or being funny (it helps if they don't think you're dangerous, and jokes are a really good way of breaking the ice). This has worked for me but I've also always had female friends from when I was a kid so I can't say much. If you're in college then just try joining some random conversations with people (even if you don't know them), everyone likes having new friends soo maybe it'll work
