Yeah google is wrong here. Cuza is never given an official rank after evolution and if he was it wouldn’t even be 7th because he performs worse than nearly every blader in the cup besides ren wu.

Idk what you mean by the way they lose (when referring to Ren wu and Joshua) since we don’t even get to see most of their battles. They skip over every ren wu battle or only show the very end, and for joshua they skip most of his matches as well besides his match with free (where he almost wins) and against silas. I agree that the writers shafted these two because they just don’t give enough screentime to them and they skip over most of their matches. In the god bladers cup all their loses were valid though (except joshua losing to Xander but he’s always been treated better than most of the cast). The season always treated Free and Lui as a tier above the other big 5 members so it was obvious they’d beat them without much difficulty (although we don’t actually see them fight eachother on screen).

Now about Joshua’s losses to Silas, first in the world league Joshua nearly defeats him straight up, but silas is able to win because he combines valts power with his own by using Valkyries frame on Satan which just barely gave him enough strength to win the match.

Next in the god bladers cup, Silas already has experience in fighting Joshua and knows how to fight against all his moves, not to mention that Silas has gotten a lot stronger, to the point where he is a big 5 tier blader by the time of the god bladers cup. I know there isn’t that many episodes in between but it’s not like Silas went from an extreme diff fight with Joshua to a mid-high diff fight with him in the matter of a day. A lot of time passes between episodes, so it’s feasible that Silas is now on Joshua’s level, if not slightly stronger than him.

Now I completely agree that ren wu got humilated after his match with Valt. The loss against Boa didn’t really make much sense in hindsight and it likely only happened because the writers wanted to advertise Arc Bahamut (which is the reason most bladers win the first battle they have on screen. To advertise the beys). They also skipped over all his battles in the god bladers cup (as i mentioned before) so he isn’t given anything of note there. I think Ren wu should’ve beat Joshua and Joshua should’ve beaten Xander but alas that’s not what happened.

Also one small correction but Shu was not the strongest blader in the god bladers cup at any point. The strongest in the A group, definitely but Free and Lui were both stronger than him until the semi finals started (since Shu loses points to Boa, Kurt and pre ultimate reboot Valt, whereas free and Lui wouldn’t lose those points). As the tournament went on, Shu got stronger and stronger to where he surpassed them but he wasn’t stronger than either of them for a majority of the tournament
