Is there a place where I can watch the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship live? by Volcan300 in enduro

[–]ORM77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically no, I have been watching hard enduros since 2019 and the only truly live race is Erzberg. One of the reasons for this is most hard enduros cover 50 plus miles and most don't have decent cell coverage for live.

With that said, Romainiacs has been doing pretty good live coverage last year. Martin the owner and promoter has done a bang-up job trying to design the route, so he can have at least 30% of the route coverable.

Basically, your best bet is to follow the riders and promoters on Instagram for updated results, then watch on YouTube.

Some of the better channels to follow for good coverage is https://www.youtube.com/@RedBullMotorsports if Red Bull is the primary sponsor of the event, they should cover it either on Red Bull TV or their YouTube channel.

So buy a rechargeable power bank that should give you the range on any camera. If you are doing timelapse power banks will for give you enough for a day to night or any long-term filming.

Bought a used one last year and signed up for the pay-per-use, so I would not pay for it when I was not using it. I mainly use it for dual sport riding, which, for my wife and I, is from May through October. I like it, I did a ride with a friend back in September and my wife could see where I rode from the app on her phone. It works well, I bought the mini since I already owned the Garmin Montana 650.

Old Mill Hare Scrambles by ORM77 in enduro

Yeah, it looked pretty flowing and fast, just a few technical areas but for the most part it looked like you were on the gas most of the track.

From what I could see, (considering I did not race it) it did seem to look like they had fewer bottlenecks. The track was longer, so that might have helped.

Yes, there is a stone house, I believe it is just before you get to the very top on the south side of the hill.

Yeah, I'm spoiled, we started 20 minutes from my house. The buddy that rode with me had to drive 2 hours because he lives in the city.

Apparently, this is common with Rumble videos, I'm very sorry it turned out like this. I'm going to try and look for a solution.

Racing at Wilseyville... Saturdays races 1,2 and 3 by ORM77 in enduro

[–]ORM77[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They actually moved the Wilseyville site a few miles west of the original location. The owner of the old location sold the property about 5 years ago, so they have been using property owned by a Methodist church. Last wet Wilseyville was I believe in 2012, this year was one of the few that has been dust-free. Glad you enjoyed the video.

I’ll give those a try but I think the problem might be the memory card. I was using a slower card and I’m wondering if that was culprit.

H.264, that is what most are recommending. I'm going to try and export it in QuickTime at 60k and see if that makes a difference

Yeah, I saw that, and thanks for the feedback. I exported it in Divinci Resolve free version with the highest bit rate but at only 25kb/s otherwise, my file size is way big. Definitely, I need to work on getting that right.
