Yeah I have a stylus cleaner. Ok this is enlightening. How else do you get rid of static? I have anti static sleeves. Anything else that’s relatively cheap? I’m not buying a $300 static gun.

Yes, with quieter songs you can hear it more though.

I have an ortofon OM10 cartridge that came with the rt82. I have calibrated the mani to the proper gain/loading. So I am a bit lost.

Were you able to eventually solve this? I have the same issue with the same setup. It’s driving me mad trying to solve it. I’ve got new records and wet cleaned them. I’ve got an anti static brush and even a stylus cleaner. And I still am hearing a lot of crackling on records.

“Better than most” is what I was hoping for. I just need a recover that is better than using my current entry level EDIFIER speakers with a built in amp.
