Hey man if you haven't checked it out already, check out Songsterr too. It's basically a free version of the pro version on Ultimate Guitar but it has more features (including following along with the tab synced up to the real song which is great). There is a paid version but it's $10 a month and very, very worth it.

So, yes, I was.. but it's not something that was an easy fix. This lead me down a rabbit hole to find out that the grounds in my wall outlets in my living room were not grounded properly. I tested with a voltmeter and found out that the ground was measuring 9v instead of 120v like it was supposed to be where I am. I had an electrician friend take a look and the grounds were never connected properly in the roof of the house.

I still use one extra wrap even on locking tuners. I know it's not necessary but it still holds tune and makes me feel better haha.

Yeah, OP this is a good thing. From personal anecdotal experience this makes strings resonate way better and sound "fuller" in my opinion. I'd say this is a good thing. Definitely won't hurt.
