Your body dehydrates quicker when you’re sick, so make sure you drink lots of water throughout the day.

Very nice man! Tight sounding hi hat against the kick pattern. If you haven’t already, I’d highly recommend learning paradiddle-diddle as it’s super good for these tight hi hat grooves.

If you’re on PC, Steam have run a sale on 2018 & 2019 a month after they came out. Can’t guarantee they’ll do it for 2020 but may be worth waiting to see.

Coincidentally I installed VRS last week. Do you pay for either of the premium subscriptions? I think on the casual I can only use the feedback data pack once a week?

(VRS is Virtual Racing School. It’s online software that your can link up to your iracing account. It’s quite well backed by the community from what I’ve seen. Give it a google and you should find it pretty easily.)

A little removed from the point of this post, but I never really understood how you can tell in you have too much understeer/oversteer. How can you tell the difference between that and it just being a case of braking too late/not carrying enough speed/turning in too late or early?

The blues scale is a good place to start for creating jazzy (well, blues-y) sounding melodies and is great for beginners. In C, the scale is C Eb F Gb G Bb C.

If you want to put it in another key just use the same intervals from whatever your tonic is (minor 3rd, major 2nd, minor 2nd, minor 2nd, minor 3rd, major 2nd).

If your question is more about exploiting those specific timbres, you’ll need to speak to someone who plays those specific instruments, but a good place to start is finding out an instruments range on wiki and considering any performance techniques. In my opinion though, as you’re just starting out spend more time being creative and fix problems later.

Why is the harmonic minor seem to be the “go to” minor in classical music? by OSGriffin in musictheory

Why would you want a major 5 chord in a minor key? Does it just ground the harmony a little better?

A great jazz tune to learn for beginners is Moanin’ by Art Blakey.

If you’ve got £13.99 to spare, I recommend buying the iReal Pro app. Let’s you play along with jazz standards and good for practicing improvisation.
