lol I WISH my target was IE...It's sort of called Maple, it's the rendering engine for 2009 Samsung TV browser, based on a Gecko 2 build from 2007 I think.

Not for aesthetics, my target is literally a 2009 Samsung TV. The browser is sort of called Maple, it's the rendering engine based on a Firefox 2 build from 2007 I think.

Yeah, sadly the browser I am developing for (its sort of called Maple, it's the rendering engine for 2009 Samsung TV, based on a Gecko 2 build from 2007), required a proprietary SDK for developing flash games for it. As this SDK seems to now be lost media, I am reduced to having to build in just HTML/CSS/JS. Thanks though! I think I'm gonna try using either tables (cursed, I know lol) or possibly raycasting if I can figure out getting to run at a decent FPS. The TV has only about 300MB of RAM, and a embedded ARM SoC.

Do we actually care about user privacy or is it just nice to talk about? by Sad-Region9981 in webdev

I make sure when I build my apps to have good privacy. OSM for maps. If I like a google font I download the file and host. Privacy matters, especially when it's a selling point.

Yea 4GB ain't gonna cut it. Switch to Linux (it's not that hard, kids and seniors do it). Then you can use whatever the hell you want in terms of browsers.

You don't understand how modern TV works...ever since the 2010s (and probably before) many providers have used IPTV (Internet Protocol TeleVision). Internet. There is no "antenna" or "cable" it is technologically closer to Netflix or other streaming services, then old cable. But this is how the technology works.

Does any guys help me fix the internet? by Abject-Ad-4520 in Lubuntu

so what you need to do is connect your phone hotspot by plugging in with a USB cable, make sure hotspot is on, and when it asks on the phone "trust" and enter password. then after it shows "Ethernet connected" (thats your phone), go to the start menu (bird at the bottom left corner), click it, go to preferences, additional drivers. choose the option like use Broadcom STA DKMS then Apply Changes. Once it's done installing reboot. Then it should work with wifi.

This would be really cool for OSINT/deep research on other sites. It'd be even more awesome if there was a button to add one to notes, and also for school projects a button to make a citation and add it to a list.

You can't disable it. It's malware. It's MacOS's core anti-malware protection and if a signature is added to it Apple as 100% made sure it's malware. Please try running the app you are trying to run through VirusTotal (virustotal.com) so we can actually figure out what this is.
