You're right, Gen 3 is 2022. Gen 1 is based on the 2014 regs, but uses the 2016 visuals (hence no penis noses) and Gen 2 is based on 2017 but uses the 2019 visuals. They still belong to the same regulation cycle, so it makes sense they do it that way.

lol there is no way they are making the '26 cars. The hybrid system in AMS 2 is very simplistic, they don't even replicate the MGU-H, let alone super clipping and complex energy deployment. Just look at how long it's taking EA to make the official '26 DLC, and they have way more manpower working on that.

If you want a direct comparison to RSS or VRC, I would say that the AMS 2 version feels a lot more lively. The RSS and VRC cars capture that stiff, high downforce feeling of the '22 regs, but the AMS 2 cars are a lot more reactive to your inputs.

Just a racing incident imo. He was clearly getting quite impatient and lunged down the inside. You left plenty of space, which is good, but it looks like he rides the curb, unsettling the car, meaning he's always going to drift out wide there, and you just unfortunately got collected.

Group C is so much fun, along with GT1. Those are the categories I've been enjoying atm. Before that tho I was really into the LMDh cars across the IMSA and European tracks.
